The "narrative" pushed by the race hustlers is falling apart:

With a single punch, Trayvon Martin decked the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who eventually shot and killed the unarmed 17-year-old, then Trayvon climbed on top of George Zimmerman and slammed his head into the sidewalk several times, leaving him bloody and battered, authorities have revealed to the Orlando Sentinel.

That is the account Zimmerman gave police, and much of it has been corroborated by witnesses, authorities say.

Zimmerman has not spoken publicly about what happened, but that night, Feb. 26, and in later meetings he described and re-enacted for police what he says happened.

In his version of events, he had turned around and was walking back to his SUV when Trayvon approached him from behind, the two exchanged words then Trayvon punched him in the nose, sending him to the ground, and began beating him.

    ===============================

Just like the Duke lacrosse case.

So in other words, Zimmerman was instructed by the 9-11 dispatcher to not follow Martin.

Zimmerman proceeds to return to his vehicle and some sort of confrontation begins and is attacked.

And here I thought Martin was just skipping along with his skittles all innocent.

    OOPS!

Not just like it at all.  Duke lacrosse the accuser fabricated the case.  Here the aggrieved is dead.  He can't fabricate anything and we know Zimmerman shot Trayvon.  The issue will be whether the fatal shot was reasonable self defense in response to being in fear of his life.

I think it's been known for awhile that they engaged in a fight and were wrestling.  That doesn't mean that his use of deadly force was justified.  As I've said, are we going to now say that killing someone with a gun is justified just because there's a fistfight?  As soon as a fight occurs, you're just allowed to whip out your gun and put a slug in the chest?

Um the race hustlers are fabricating what happened.

    You are believing them.

They will be proven wrong with facts.

That is how they are the same.

screw the facts......the facts just don't fit the need for division and a lead up to major race problems for the summer and the election.

While listening to the 911 recording,I feel certain that Zimmerman pursued that boy AFTER the dispatcher said "we don't need you to do that" (After Zimmerman acknowledged he was following Martin) !

    Just my $0.02

As I've said, are we going to now say that killing someone with a gun is justified just because there's a fistfight?

    ----------------

    Um:

Trayvon asked Zimmerman if he had a problem. Zimmerman said no and reached for his cell phone, he told police.

Trayvon then said, “Well, you do now” or something similar and punched Zimmerman in the nose.

Zimmerman fell to the ground and Trayvon got on top of him and began slamming his head into the sidewalk

    ------------------------------

    Is not what you said.

Alternatively, after being told by the dispatcher to not follow Martin, Zimmerman returned to his vehicle where he was attacked.

Doesn't the "Stand your ground" law actually work for Trayvon more than Zimmerman?   The guy Zimmerman was clearly  the aggressor for a confrontation.   If the what the loser who started this thread is true, that would mean Trayvon could stand HIS ground and protect himself.

    Huh?

he [Zimmerman] had turned around and was walking back to his SUV when Trayvon approached him from behind

You're emotionally wedded to an outcome.

You keep hanging on to that.

Injuries sustained and corroborated witnessing can support a self-defense case, providing Zimmerman's account of being assaulted first between the two is taken as fact and not just heresay.

Even though Zimmerman got roughed-up,this doesn't preclude him from being the aggressor.

    I'm not saying...I'm jus' sayin'.

what does black have anything to do with it?

treyvon probably got freaked out some guy was following him so he decked him as he got to close. zimmerman feared for his life so we shot treyvon

i dont think any of us knows what happened. however, the one eye witness' story sort of vibes with why police have not found enough probable cause to charge Z with anything

This seems most likely. Trouble is you only have 1 side of what actually happened right before the physical altercation took place. And it's from the guy who shot & killed Martin & who could be charged with murder. My guess is he followed &/or chased him & said some stuff that provoked &/or scared Martin into doing what he did, then he shot him. With the cops on the way & Trayvon unarmed, there is no justification to what he did at all imo. But no way to know the full story...

I heard it was a GATED community and no blacks lived there and there must have been some previous problems hence, the neighborhood patrol.

The press stirred up this shit when the mother produced a picture of a 12yr old kid before the truth came out that he was 17 and had no business in the neighborhood.

It was always reported that he was 17 and he did have business in the neighborhood.  He was staying with his dad and went to buy skittles.

We didn't know that he was suspended for pot, but so what, it's totally irrelevant.

All that's relevant is what transpired that night.  It doesn't sound like there is any really complete definitive eyewitness so Zimmerman can finesse his story to fit his narrative.

Even though Zimmerman got roughed-up,this doesn't preclude him from being the aggressor.

    ============
    True.

But it seems likely his story is accurate. I mean, it makes more sense than he chased the guy down and shot him for "looking suspicious" as was originally indicated.

The report from the crime lab would be interesting to read if it is released.

I heard there was an eye witness who corroborated Zimmerman's story.

As well as his broken nose, grass stains and various contusions that the police noted in the police report.

I have to say though the way that this was handled by the media, is fucking negligent.

That's what happens when every Tom, Dick, and Harry nut- job can carry guns.  It's not going to be the last incident. Violence begets more violence.

So what are the boundaries for citizens attempting to keep hoodlums out of their neighborhoods?
This certainly will be a challenging situation from every standpoint here.
Had Z been beaten to death we'd never have heard a thing as this is an issue specifically because of racist folks such as our president.

But Z is partially or wholly responsible for initiating a confrontation that led to his ass being whipped and him shooting a 17 yr old.  If you think the kid was going to kill you or close to it then he's justified in the shooting.  If he did it just to win a fight then its a manslaughter issue.

    facts will come out.

Exactly - Zimmerman was not even registered with the HOA as a watchman - he was self-appointed. Had no business following Martin at all & he wasn't on anyones property or breaking into anything and was told not to. Also, Zimmerman has a past record of violence (both domestic & resisting arrest) whereas Martin doesn't at all. Sounds like murder to me. Though as prez, Obama has no business commenting on it at all imo -

The dude was suspended from school for drug possession this year, so at the very least he wasn't some ultra clean kid as he was portrayed. And he was 6'3, so what's up with the circulating pictures making him look 13.

Let's focus on 2 black teenagers setting one white teenager on fire.
And three blacks youths murdering one white youth. Or is that just all too common.
