When it comes right down to it the right wing posters above are flip floppers and hypocrites.

On the one hand, they want " tradesmen " to rebuild the country, but want them to get paid minimum wage. Let me enlighted you, that's not happening in this day and age..to much access to information.

 You are not going to get the chinese to come here and build your railroad, mexicans to repair your roof, or blacks to pick your cotton. That's not happening anymore. You're going to pay decent wage or pay through welfare. If not, there will be riots.  Take your choice. Greed is over.

Cities are always going to need public employees. This is how our type of society works. If you dont like the things cities provide, there are lots of countries you can move to that provide no services to their people. All i can say is MOVE THERE.

Cities are going broke, because populations are growing, yet there are less jobs for people {because they are all being sent overseas}

When are some of you gonna finally grasp some simple math.

You dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure out if population increases, while jobs decreases, that puts extreme pressure on the systems.

I suggest some of you start applying common sense to problems, instead of believing the bs the talking heads keep feeding you.

CD its time for you to have another reading comprehension test. He never said that we need to do away with public workers and services. He only said that we need to restructure the pay and bennies for these workers.

Please tell me that you know the difference between taxes on regular earnings and taxes on investment income and why the taxes on investment income is at a lower rate.

I'll help you out...investment income is taxed at a lower rate because the original capital has already been taxed at the higher rate.

Yeah get rid of unions, so then businesses can just use workers like slaves. And please dont give me the BS the govt protects workers rights, because if it wasnt for unions being at the fore front of getting workers rights passed, guys like you would be able to pay people the bare minimum in wages, while you pocket the rest. And please dont come back with the BS well its your business, because without workers helping you to make money, you wouldnt have a business.

To bowlslit, if you want to restructure pay and benefits, then do that before the people actually perform the work.  That way a person can decide if they even want that job to begin with.

I know WITH 100 PERCENT CERTAINTY that if your company said they will pay you a 1000 a week and then at the end of the week after you did your work, the company says, sorry bowlslit we are only gonna pay you 500.  Am sure you would blow a gasket.

or how about when you retire and your company says sorry bowlslit, all that money we put into your 401k plan, we have to take it back, because the company is hurting.  Yeah am sure you would say, go ahead, thats okay

Um, about 10% of the private sector work force is unionized.

Yet America's standard of living is the highest in the world.
