It is over my head, but, I am smart enough to know I am too dumb to understand all this stuff.
That is why I have a cpa, and financial advisor
The way it has been explained to me, is the companies tried to make money knowing people couldn't afford the terms.
They either honestly, or dishonestly knew that people would be forced to walk away from their bad loans, and then the banks could re-grab the house...now worth 10-20-25 % more.
Problem was, the market stalled, and houses stopped "appreciating" 20 % a year, and now the banks are stuck with houses they can't more.
Supply exceeds the demand.
am I warm?

But what if I don't consider Roe v Wade as important as social laws being re-written?
The 60's court ( Warren I think ) made some disastrous decisions that plagued the United States with crime for decades.
The criminal now has more right than the victim. I also believe they made some appropriate rulings ( Brown v Board of Education, Griswold v. Connecticut, Mapp, Miranda )
