US isn't self sufficient in copper and other minerals because domestic demand exceeds supply. However more US mining risks depleting low supply from ground. If national security is a concern, US would be better off keeping tariffs low and stockpiling rare minerals from other countries.

- you see how civilised people take criticism of their country - that I don’t agree it being sick/weird is another thing - they were dead animals so can’t see the problem

Ohh and btw they didn’t HAVE to ask for pets because they couldn’t feed the animals in the Zoo - they do it to teach the kids a vulnerable lesson (with dead animals - that everything is food at the end of the day and circle of life bullshit - with animals that are alive - about the dangers of life) - I swear I have never seen my niece more shocked and more in contact with the dangers of the world than when I took her at age 4 to a live feeding of Piranhas - where they ate a living horse
The US is for sure part of the problem but I would suggest the entire Euro collection including Denmark could have stepped in and made a difference and yet nothing at all and if anything the support for Israel is as strong in your neck of the woods as it is here.
Finger pointing at the US is valid but short sided, the UN allowed this and did not remove Israel from the UN and take back their land grant which should never have been allowed given that in the process it allowed Gaza to be choked by Israel and a third world existence to go on since then for those not Israeli.
We could definitely have done more - but I am pretty sure you guys would side with Israel if we did - what do you expect us to do then ? Fight the biggest military power - while we already have our plate full - we are not a military superpower we can’t tell other countries what to do and don’t - and we don’t fund Israel - like you guys - we buy stuff from them - like we do the rest of the world (just the fact that we have started taking steps that don’t align with your stance on a conflict that doesn’t directly affect us says a lot on who is on the wrong side of history here)
Did I bring up family members ? Mate I don’t know you at all - if I have ever mentioned your family I have only done it to kid - I am sure you have a lovely family - I have no reason not to believe that - and you guys are WAY to emotional about your country to the extent where it must be an illness - it isn’t a personal attack - it is an outsider giving his opinion where you as a country could improve (but everyone can improve)

Band together as a collective at the UN and force the ouster of Israel and threaten to take away their land grant..do something other than point fingers at the US. No question the power players who support Israel have massive sway here, I know this and it cannot be denied but if the entire continent which is closer to the situation just falls back and does nothing then your area of the world is as much or more to blame than the US.
I'd support kicking Israel out of the UN and cutting US ties, they just committed mass genocide and nobody stopped them. The audacity of Benny to go and suggest there is no poverty in Gaza and many of the US GOP side to say that things are exaggerated is disgusting and not that much different than what happened during WWII and is still happening now. The fact that Israel controls the flow of critical goods and services and the UN has to plane dump rations is human rights abuse but hey since Palestine has no rights and their people are not wealthy or powerful I guess who cares?
But you as a country is to blame that is one of the prices that comes with being “the world leader” as things are right now none but you can stop this and none but you enabled this - but yeah we 100% agree that we also could do more - but Israel doesn’t listen to sanctions or anything else - as long as you back them up - cause seriously who should pick a fight with you guys at the moment - about a conflict in Gaza - but it is easy to point fingers at you guys - not only don’t you actively try to stop it - you are funding this to happen
Btw you can't put more responsible on us for being close to them - it is fun you guys almost exclusively point out how big and strong you are when it is to your advantage - and never when the bill has to be paid - International policy Europe is your guys lapdog - and we have been for 80 years both in good and bad - we also fought your guys war in Iraq and Afghanistan - even though you got all the benefits and we had to deal with the mass immigration that followed
- I don't know how to say this in any other way - than you FUND this - us going against Israel - would be literally us going against you - on a matter that basically don't affect us - more than as a normal thinking human being (but we have started to take steps towards it - but yeah we don't have to discuss that we also could have done more - but if you think we are as much or more to blame than you - then you are delusional or don't know what the conflict is about)
But believe me I can understand the confusion as you have never won a “war” on your own (and that says a lot when you have a fetisch of fighting civilians defending their land never having fought in their life ) - but this one has you written all over it - so at least there is that I guess
