So, are you saying Obama has done things that are clearly anti-abortion? Or anti-gay rights? Or he has just taken nuanced positions.
The reality is that you don't know or don't care about the differences in the positions of Santorum and Paul, because they are both Republicans, which was the point of my post.
So you agree with me that Obama cannot take a side

Yep. I agree that every politician takes nuanced positions to appeal to as many voters as possible. The proof of their positions is in their actions.
But this thread has shown that you will support any person with an -R next to their name, which is why your opinions and views will never be taken seriously.

I wanted to see how far I could drag you along. You know it would be boring if we all agreed with each other. This is where I stand on those issues:
I do not believe in gay marriage but I don't think we should legislate against it. If states want to allow gay marriage then so be it.
I do not believe in abortion but this has been ruled on in Roe V. Wade by the Supreme Court. What I disagree with is any tax dollars going to anything that funds abortions.
How 'bout yourself? Where do you stand on those two issues?
The reason I will support any candidate over Obama is because they will repeal Obamacare, they will be right to work/anti-union, and they will hopefully surround themselves with people I agree with as opposed to people like Eric Holder, Anita Dunn, Van Jones, Cass Sustein, Andy Stern, etc.

Perfectly fine and valid reasons. And anybody who tells you different has an agenda and isn't worth the time interacting with.

Ok, so then you clearly won't support Romney or Gingrich correct? Since both supported the core mandate position of ObamaCare positions and Romney supports 'big corn,' a Union position. And any positions by them otherwise would be pandering, and we know how important it is for you that you know where they stand.
You might be wise and listen to your fellow Republican lackey who will profess to claim hatred toward Santorum, but will moderate their position if need be.

You keep going back to his vote in 1981. No one is disputing that vote. That was back when Reagan was calling him "Israel's best friend" while Reagan was seeking military and financial support with Paul alongside.
I'm asking for any link showing he was opposed to financial and military support for Israel under Reagan.
You won't find any.
he has never supported any foreign aid for any country
he was israel's best friend because he wanted the US out of their affairs allowing them to run their business as they needed to

Who is willing to modify their position?

Or are you just back to your old ways of mass generalizations and false assumptions?

I am not a one issue or two issue voter. I take everything into consideration.
Romney will probably get the nomination. I like his answer when he is questioned about RomneyCare in Mass. He said govt health care was good for Mass but there were mistakes and he would do some things different. He said he does not think govt health care is good for the entire country and he will repeal ObamaCare.
Although I disagree with any level of govt healthcare I like what he is saying now.

You didn't respond to my comments about who Obama has surrounded himself with. I would hope whoever the nest President is will surround himself with better people. Example: When it comes to economic advisers, bring in job creators, as opposed to Economics Professors from Harvard. When it comes to an Attorney General, bring in a person who will follow the rule of law, not push a social agenda.

Got it.
So when you said "I said I respected them because you know where they stand" that only applied to Republicans.

Right.
Because Attorney General's in Republican administrations don't follow a social agenda.

You attack DonJuan unmercifully for his position on abortion, yet defend your lackey buddy for supporting a candidate who wants to outlaw abortion and birth control.
Wonder why that is?

Do you know what the definition of lackey is? Look it up.
Now think about the original intent of this thread.
Now think about how big of a freaking clown you are for calling me a lackey.
Your remark is wildly inaccurate. Laughably so, and idiotic enough to make me re-assess a previous belief that were a very bright guy. Yes I know you couldn't possibly care less.
Also, u misinterpreted my comment to Canovsp. He can vote for whoever he wants for whatever reason he wants. It really was that simple. Not all who dislike Obama are cut from the same cloth. Considering the littany of reasons to dislike Obama, this shouldn't surprise you. While I will never cast a vote for Obama, there are many running against him right now that I would never vote for either.
Lets go back to ignoring each. Deal? Deal

Notice why you didn't respond to my point that you came to the defense of a person voting for a position that you abhor and was the very reason you started this thread (and attack Don Juan for the same).
Do you know why you can't possibly reconcile that?
It isn't a criticism of you, per se. Originally, when I made the comment that a few people in this thread wouldn't care what the letter after the name of the candidate was, I was referring to you, I actually don't think you would vote for Santorum or Obama, (like KOAJ and Rick), which was my point to the poster I was discussing this with.

“It’s not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be.”
Can you believe that last sentence? This man is a monster. Clearly, it just drives Santorum and his fundamentalist freak-show friends crazy to think women might actually enjoy sex.
although he appears to be the american version of the middle eastern religious extremist... he makes a good point for decrease in central government influence and allowing states to legislate their own laws,,,
So the question then is....
What state(s) would want to legislate such laws around birth control? because he is essentially advocating that this/these states should have the right to out law birth control...
So what state or states do you think he advocating for?
