A Republican congresswoman has released a campaign ad criticizing Trump's approach to immigration enforcement, in the latest sign that a key plank of the president's 2024 re-election campaign has become a liability for his congressional allies ahead of November's midterm elections.

          "Mr. President, some of your immigration enforcement
           efforts have gone too far!!"  
           Florida's María Elvira Salazar says in a 30-second ad.

          "In July, 50% of the 50,000 people that were detained 
           [by trump's Gestapo]  had no criminal record!!!" 

Polls show most Americans think immigration enforcement has gone too far.  ICE agents use too much force and the wrong people are targeted.  Most voters disapprove of Trump's job performance and his handling of immigration.  To save themselves, republican candidates try to distance away from unpopular president.

what i dont understand, most of these republican politicians know everything trump is doing is wrong for the whole country. Why they dont break away for this career criminal and try to save our country from this monster, boggles my brain.  Dont they realize that they will be in the history books as the people who helped destroy our country.
