From what I know, which I admit to be very little, empirically speaking, is that he had certain defensive measures in place before the storm hit.  So, yea, my early reading mentioned generators, medical, and food supplies - all lined up early. 

In addition,

He stopped campaigning, which seems prudent.  He did what he needed to do, which would include giving off this appearance of "concern and readiness."  I have no doubt of his genuine concern.  Was the readiness an appearance or was it for real?  Let's see.  According to some people like Christie, Bloomberg, and other I can't name but of whom I've read, it appears these people are saying the readiness is real.  Now, if you want to dismiss their testimony, that's fine.  But you'll need to provide a fairly persuasive argument.  I see no reason, in reality. for Christie or Bloomberg to be manipulated into saying what they've said.  And Bloomberg's thing on climate change?  If he's concerned and believes it's an important issue, then Obama is the candidate more in line with that preference. 

I'm not voting for either candidate.

Passion will decide turnout. Turnout will decide the election. Passion is on the challengers side. For example- Does anyone remember the Chik-Filet appreciation day? The average restaurant did a full weeks sales in that one day running out of food and closing early or they would have done a week and a halfs sales. America knows we need a different direction immediately and we will deliver Obama his pink slip in a few days.

People are without homes, power, food, clothing, and heat.

People are dumpster diving, looking for food.

People lined up for miles trying to find gasoline, but most stores closed and can't pump it due to no power.

Hundreds of reports of price gouging.

Hundreds of reports of looting and people fighting in the streets.

Hospitals overcrowded due to transferring patients

Warehouses being set up as makeshift morgues.

Transportation services closed... Phonelines down.

And what has Obama done again? He made an appearance, shook some hands, kissed some babies, and now he is back on the road campaigning.... Yes he has done a stellar job

He needs to have his ass over there, appearing like he gives a shit, whether he does or not... He needs to have his foot up the mayor of New Yorks ass... who is more concerned with obtaining resourses and man power setting up everything for the marathon... that is fucking amazing to me.

Giant generators brought in to power the marathon official tents, and yet you have all of these poor people who have lost everything, and who are sitting in a pitch black home, freezing at night, and hungry... each one of those generators have the capability of powering 400 homes.... So you tell me, who's interests does the president and mayor really have at heart..

Obama would actually come out better, and would probably pick up the votes he was looking for if he would, for once, roll up his sleeves and do something right for the american people... just once... It would be more beneficial for him to do this, than out campaigning, and saying the same old lies...

Ask people from those cities that are hard hit?? So what you are asserting?  So you're asking me to accept this so called hearsay evidence  that Obama is doing a poor job to respond to this catastrophic natural disaster. I'm still yet to see any hard evidence from you to back up your claims that.  Both Mayor Bloomberg, Gov. Christie, Gov Tom Corbett, Senator Jeanne Shaheen have all praised Obama for the beginning work he's done to help allocate thousands of dollars, resources, open volunteer recruitment canvasses, etc.. to aid in the effort to repair the Northeast.

I;m unclear what your problem is.. Do you think this clean up and repair of the entire northeast is supposed to happen over night.

Perhaps you expect Jesus Christ himself to swoop down and save everyone and repair the roads, the power lines, the entire infrastructure.

Of all your points make little to no sense at all. My point has been and remains that Obama unlike Romney decided to focus on spending time helping resolve these problems while working closely with politicians on the state and local level while Romney has continued to canvass in the Midwest.
