CD, this is not brain surgery. You have to keep conservative free market unfettered economics out of the equation. I am no more of an economist than anyone else in here. But I am a student of history. Here is a History 101 primer for you all.
1928: herbert Hoover, conservative,deregulation, free market advocate = the Great Depression.
1980 Ronald Reagan, conservative, deregulation, free market, union busting advocate = the biggest deficit increase in history at the time and a recession in his 2nd term due in part to the S&L scandals in the late 80's due to deregulation.
1988 George the elder ,conservative, deregulation, free market advocate = recession & further increase in the national debt.
2000 Chauncey Gardner, conservative, deregulation, free market advocate= depression,record deficits and bailouts for Wall Street.
What part of this scenario dont these trickle down ,union busting, outsourcing,slave labor advocates fail to understand? How many times does history have to repeat itself before the Neo-Cons realize that conservative economics dont work.They keep extolling the virtues of cheap, low quality goods being available to the American consumer without realizing that the American consumer cant consume without employment and an income. These people have an IQ level slightly below Sarah Palin and slightly above the domestic 3 toed sloth. God forbid if somehow Obama in his spirit of bi-partisanship appoints any of these idiots to a position where they can exert any influence on our countries economy. Have'nt they done enough damage already.

I have a chevy and a buick. I buy American made products the best i can. I never buy a foreign product just to save a few bucks, unlike alot do in this country.
Heres the funny part about guys Tilt, hes in the accounting business so hes got a fairly safe occupation as far as all his jobs being sent overseas, but you can bet your ass if all the accounting jobs were being sent overseas he would be first in line crying about it. He sure as hell wouldnt be saying oh well, i will just go look for a new job down at the burger king. This a big part of the problem in our country, the people who have safe jobs over here dont give a shit about jobs being sent overseas just as long as they can by a product cheaper for themselves. Too many selfish people we now have in this country. Like i said many times, its the me generation.
Tilt and his neocon friends love to talk about globalization. Well globalization happened because the politicians sold out our country to the fatcats. Our country used to do just fine having products made here in U.S.A. Everybody had jobs and our economy cycled just fine.
Heres how the world should work and could if there wasnt so much damn corruption taking place. Every country should be responsible for their own economy. Make your own products and sell them back to your own people. Now if a country doesnt make a product then by all means import it in from another country. If china doesnt make steel, then by all means china should import steel. If our country doesnt produce sugar, then by all means bring in sugar from another country. But each country should be making their own products for their own country. Just like theres always talk of finding new energy sources so we dont have to rely on oil from other countries, this same thought process should be applied to every product we can make here in the U.S.A. Make here and buy it here. Too bad if those pair of jeans cost 25 bucks instead of the 15 we could be paying if we brought them in from another country. At least everybody would be working with jobs and the more jobs people have the more money is out there to spend,this type of economics works.
But what happened was our politicians sold us out and starting letting all these imports come into our country {even thou they knew our work force could never compete with these foreign comanies prices due to the slave wages they have their people working for in labor camps}
So now people start getting used to buying that cheaper car, stereo,clothes etc etc without thinking that sooner or later we are going to put our own people out of work just because there is no way we could compete with the foreign companies, unless our people wanted to work for the same kind of slave wages paid to overseas workers. So the taste for cheaper products kept growing and growing, due to the politicians looking the other way and letting more products in. So now this puts us where we are today, jobs being lost at an alarming pace and more foreign products coming into the country. Now all the folks that still have the jobs, well they dont really care that jobs are being lost because as long as its not their job and they can still buy cheap products, they just dont give a shit. This is the cycle we are now in and i doubt there is any way to break it, unless we just said no. This will never happen because the fatcats got the politicians in their pockets.
Am sure the me generation neo cons will say this is silly and wont work, well to that i say it used to work just fine until people got selfish in our country.
