I would vote for Obama. Not because he is perfect and have lived up to all his promises.
but i am more aligned with his core political beliefs than his opponents.
Also this election is not so much Obama and what he has done, but more the lousy alternatives.
ok mikael, you're in. you will be voting for obama in november if it's between obama and romney. please make sure you proudly wear you're "I voted." sticker on election day in denmark.
congratulations, you admirably performed your civic duty. the right to vote in america, even if you are danish, is a cherished right we all must safeguard.
if ron paul is in the picture, you can still have the vote if you want to vote for him. if not, i am terminating your voting rights and casting both of my votes for paul.

I honestly don't understand why anybody would vote for Obama unless you were unemployed, in a union, or a government worker.
If you believe in the American dream, and you wanted to own your own business one day, the POLICIES of Obama are killing this great country. Raising taxes, more regulation, more spending , and Obamacre is not the answer. It's not even close. I hope the American people wake up in time, we need a new direction fast.
Wrong, if you own your own business you benefit more.
1. Taxes are getting lower for small business, 2. regulation protects your business, 3.and spending is being cut slowly in order not to bust the economy. Example, military cut backs. and taxing the filthy rich. Most of whom made their money off the backs of the little guy.

Its actually amusing seeing these small business owners fall lock in step with what the Republicans tell them to think.
The sad reality is that neither party has done anything to really assist small business owners since Clinton. Yet, some small business owners in this thread (and elsewhere) have such hatred for Obama like he is the fault of their problems.
Let's examine:
1) Small businesses have something they compete with now that they did not under Clinton (at least pre-NAFTA enactment). That is the ability for a larger business to ship factories overseas, while having the protections of the US government for coporate headquarters. Guess which party made that lack of import tax possible? Hint: it has nothing to do with NAFTA
2) Small businesses have not seen their tax rates increased or reduced under and R or D. They have seen their deductions and credits reduced. Want to guess what party is responsible for that?
3) Then again, the Dems worker policies including payroll tax rates, etc for part-time workers have destroyed a very valuable commodity for small businesses...that being the ability to hire part-time work at a savings for the business.
4) The reality is that, more than any other entity, as the economy goes, so goes small businesses (or conversely, vice versa). Neither Bush nor Obama have offered much to help, yet if you listen to those in the thread, the Republicans (whomever) will come riding in on his white horse as a savior.
So, what exaclty is the Republican policy that will save such businesses? Is it different than Bush's policy?

So all of those attacks on Obama for overregulating aren't true?
So obviously, you were defending, or rather pointing out to the right wingers in those threads that Obama really hasn't been good at regulating. Let me go look....
Nope couldn't find one thread where you said that.
Now let me look under the SteveShane name....
Nope, couldn't find one there either. I'll be sure and seek you out next timie Obama is criticized for overregulating though.
