        A month back this seemed impossible. What middles class person, I thought, would vote for Romney whose agenda is clearly to preserve what is left of our economy after our industrial might has withered and died for the big shots at the top. They are not financing his campaign for nothing. But Obama's less than zero first debate debacle has unleashed a distrust of the President's competence and credibility. Romney has crept ahead in the polls, and I figure we'll never know the true story behind Obama's behavior in that first debate. What is becoming startling clear is that he has handed the election to the corporate puppet masters.

I hate to ruin the argument, but the President of the United States has very little to do with the condition of the nation. 

It is like when people complain about the price of gas. Well, get China and India to stop increasing their population and consumption, going through their own industrial revolutions, and you will see gas drop. "Less government" conservatives attach anti-online gambling bills to defense budgets and strict drug laws. Conservatives hate Barney Frank and try to portray Democrats as some neo-Marxist party, but he was the only one preaching about the personal freedom of online poker. Whatever. In November, Obamney Corp. wins. Odds? 100%.

The one paying $4.00/gallon for gas who was paying $1.84 when he took office.  The one paying $1600 a year more for gas.  The one paying $500 a year more for food.  The one paying $2500 more for healtcare premiums.  The one paying $800 a year more for electricity.  The one paying $3000 more a year for a college tuition. The millions with pride who are now on foodstamps who wish they had a job and could provide for their families.  The list goes on and on......

DUDE, 1. These problems are so many years in the making it is insane. Reagan started the dismantling of the manufacturing centers and the shipping of jobs elsewhere during the 80's.
The last three presidents (not including Obama) have all championed deregulation of the financial markets, most notoriously Clinton and King Bush II. This lead to the back breaking recession/depression that we are still digging tooth and nail out of.

So saying, "how come you haven't fixed this shit man, we gave you like four years? is retarded because it took 30 odd years to fuck us bad enough to a point where enough of the tards who think "politics isn't important" to wake up angry and ask "why does my situation blow?" Unfortunately sounds like you and a lot of those people have been asking Fox new :/

2. If you think this Biz wiz who got a lot of money by fucking over the employees and "balancing budgets" is gonna save us, JUST DO THE MATH..... He can't do any of the things he says without massively increasing the debt and has yet to disclose how he would EXACTLY balance our budget. Not enough big birds and vagina clinics in the world to slash, burn, and cook (Big Bird not Vagina's) that could possibly account for the excess 5 trillion in ADDITIONAL SPENDING he is asking for. 
You are literally voting/hoping for the same dumb shit policies that over the last 30 years fucked this country square in the glory hole. The only reason everyone loves what Clinton did is because he just happened to be president when the .COM boom happened which provided trillions in new tax revenues, he nor anyone other party had anything to do with that, just right place right time, glad at least he didn't pocket all the cash and start frivolous invasions. Thiskind of innovation however is not happening as much anymore because companies look at the U.S. and See:

1. increasingly less capable workers because we continuously cut education spending. 

2. A crumbling infrastructure that was built in the 1950's and is in dire need of serious rehabilitation. BTW infrastructure is what allows the timely delivery and transfer of goods, companies love this but never want to actually pay for it in terms of taxes, odd isn't it?

3. Warmongering that leads to unnecessary wars, the loss of credibility, and trillions in debt that we can't couldn't pay for.

4. Out of date immigration laws the make it difficult for college educated people to come here legally. (Look at the plans to build an offshore company in International waters, near silicon valley, all in an effort to circumvent U.S. immigration laws. And no, none of these people consider McDonalds or maintenance work as commiserate with their intelligence and training.)

I have to stop, this is already more than I intended to write, but you got me going, and who am I talking to anyhow? You think ROMNEY IS THE RIGHT GUY!
 But lets be honest, at the heart of all this hostility is not policy or good judgment, but simply racism. It galls many americans that a 1/2 black man, who is as much white as he is black BTW, but looks black, has the highest office in this country. That pisses a lot of people off and they will never be able to see past his skin. 

I will never say OBAMA is perfect cuz he isn't BY FAR! But this election, as most are in this country, is picking the lesser of two evils, and I for one cannot see how you would think Romney's policies are right for you or this country unless your parents have millions and you REALLY REALLY want that estate tax thing gone. Then I at least understand your motives. Please stop voting AGAINST your interests in the name RACISM and IGNORANCE!

Oh, it's Obama who has raised the insurance premiums.  In California alone last year health insurers earned a two billion dollar profit.  Oh and it's Obama who has raised the gas prices, not Exxon et al. whose have achieved record profits these past four years.   And your utility would be zip if we'd turn the Mojave Desert into the world's biggest solar farm.  Just plug your car into your solar home and you got no electric bill and no paying for gas.  But eh, these dinosaurs can't peddle sunlight at 100 bucks plus a gallon.  It's comes down free, it's clean, and it won't run out.   Maybe you just own stock in insurance, utility, and oil industries.   And soon we'll be fighting another war for them oil boys at a weekly tab of four billion per in the South China Sea.  Doesn't matter we already fought over South China Sea oil.  It was called the Vietnam War.  Doesn't matter wth solar energy we don't even need the fucking oil.  We spend our tax bucks and blood for it anyway.

You gotta  give the Chinese credit they are pretty resourceful but they are terrible cartographers. Have you looked at a map and seen some of the territorial disputes they have with Vietnam, Japan, the Phillipines, and Taiwan. Hey man learn how to draw a straight line.

In June of -08 gas was, like now, over four bucks a gallon.  Look for yourself.

Gas had fallen to 1.86 by the time Obama took office because the economy tanked in November of '08.   Under Bush it had risen to over four and when it fell to a$1.86 the malls were empty and we were on the verge of a depression.   You want to see to the conditions as they were in the last part of '08, which you seem to have forgotten, let's bring back the Bush policies.
