Foreign election officials amazed by trust-based U.S. voting system
LAS CRUCES — In a plea agreement, a former Sunland Park city employee admitted Wednesday to multiple false voting charges stemming from last year's marred municipal elections.
Silvia Gomez, 52, had been charged last spring with a dozen felony counts for inducing non-residents to vote in the 2012 Sunland Park elections.
...
Gomez is at least the fifth defendant —from the more than 20 allegedly involved with widespread Sunland Park voter corruption — to reach resolution since August. Most have entered plea agreements.

I agree, taxpayers deserve to have their money spend more wisely ...
Early March 2013 ....Via Secretary of State John Kerry the Obama administration is giving $250 million in aid to the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood (during sequester )...
Late March 2013 ( also during sequester ) Obama released a half a billion taxpayer dollars to the Palestinian Authority to help their economy...and another $200M to Jordan...
Obama really likes throwing our money around to Muslim countries.
Certainly for the above 950 million we could cover all US citizens who don't have photo ID with photo ID ...
Note :If keeping the White House open costs the government $74,000 a week as reported, then the money going to the Palestinians could keep the White House open for 6,756 weeks or 129 years.

The 4th District Court of Appeals this morning ruled the state's 2011 voter ID law constitutional, overturning a decision from a Dane County judge that struck down the law.
Judge Brian Blanchard wrote in the decision that the court rejected the argument from the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin Education Network that the ID requirement "is, on its face, so burdensome that it effectively denies potential voters their right to vote, and is therefore constitutionally 'unreasonable.'"
