MODERATE voters say ...

There is a substantial 70 pt gap between Joe's net-Favorable numbers (+31) and trump's net-UNfavorable numbers (-39) among MODERATES. However this gap will likely narrow some by election time.  It usually does.  Even so, when a team is up 28-0 at halftime they can afford to give up a couple touchdowns and still win with a comfortable margin.

But disasters could happen...and I still believe adolf will have his own version of the Battle of the Bulge and start lobbing V-2 rockets in the fall....If that will be enough, we may not learn know until a few hours after poll booths close

I am genuinely curious if people think Trump is going to win given the current state of the country right now.  I do believe before covid he was going to mop the floor with anyone but now he is big shiny accomplishment (the economy) has gone practically belly up.

I really think he things need to trend his way for him to have a legitimate shot.  It doesn't help the man cannot for one minute stop his vendetta fueled temper tantrums.

Unlike a previous poll which I did post among these threads,
-- ONLY from TEXANS --
where most of those respondents are REPUBLICANS --
which remarkably had Biden ahead of adolf trump by +5.

Yes, GOOD POINT, Dee. Random sample, confidence level, weighted, and Margin of Error
are terms those of us with post-secodary educations tend to understand.
Those who aren't well-educated tend to look at it like it's all a
'hoax' because we have 330 million pop and the poll is only from 1677.
The don't understand the math, so their complaints are irrelevent.

However, potential poll bias can be an issue, ie if the poll shows solid
LIBERAL results but had 55% respondents being Democrats!
I rule out "poll biases" by only revealing the MODERATES responses,
although the MOE in that smaller subgroup is then twice as large.

64% Distrust Trump on the Pandemic;
Approval Declines as Cases Grow

With COVID-19 cases soaring nationally, Americans by nearly a 2-1 margin
DISTRUST what Donald Trump says about the pandemic, and six in 10  
in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll disapprove of how he’s handling it, 
up steeply since the early days of the outbreak.

Just 38% in the national survey now approve of Trump’s response,
down from 46% in late May and a narrow majority, 51%, in late March,
a 13-point drop !!!

Disapproval has gained 15 percentage points in the same period, to 60%.
