Mitt's VP pick?........thoughts (serious ones please)..know it might be difficult

I think that if you look at the mathematical reality is that they need Dems and independents to who voted for Obama to change their vote...  so even if Obama's approval rating does not look good, it does not mean that when it comes to voting that people will vote for Romney...

The strategy of the GOP flaming Obama on every chance they get supposedly trying to get Dems to change their vote and in the same breath flame all Dems/liberals/left etc. is just poor strategy because it results in it seemingly like partisan lip service rather then making legit points about Obama (which they may actually have)...

Romney being a moderate makes sense and I think that if the GOPs were to pick a far/extreme right VP candidate so invigorate their base would be a mistake... The more extreme part of the GOP base does not need any convincing beyond the fact that Obama is president and symbolically represents everything they are against...

I think the GOP need to pick another moderate (or at least not someone that can be portrayed as right winged extremist wacko)  to go along with him that will get people that voted for Obama to switch...

This is where I think portman might actually be a better then rubio... getting people who voted for Obama to vote for the "rising star" in the GOP realm is not a good strategy...

I disagree... huckabee has a great personality... and would overshadow romney big time...

but perhaps a Baptist Minister would help with the Mormon thing... and rally the theocratic GOP base...

He is a likable guy from Arkansas who can jam on his guitar...  reminds me of Bill Clinton... He is a guy people can relate to...

Condi Rice has been my choice all along as a possible VP candidate.  I like Chjristie but not as VP.  Rubio, not a favorite of mine.  I just hope that Romney won't kill his chances by a dumb choice.  I also like Michele Bachmann but am afraid that she would be a negative.  Santorum, hell no!  Another Jimmy Carter only more of a fanatic.  And Santorum would come out against contraception and blow the Republicans out of the water.  Surely he won't be considered.  The Democrats just LOVE all these sidetracks so that the Economy, NDAA and other stuff will not be  addressed.  And don't anyone dare to vet the illegal SS# or the fake birth certificate.

Huckabee could have easily beat out Romney in the republican primary,but choose not to run for some reason.

Really hope its Huckabee here.  That will win over skeptical evangelicals.  Selecting Huckabee will be the only way to get me to the poll and forgive him for the way he fucked over Rick S. and Newt. The thought of a mormon President still irks me. Damn, it really does.  Just a bad choice culturally, it really is.

Rick S. won't take it as he is already working on his campaign/super PAC for '16. 

Rubio or Huckabee, both are solid Picks.

could you imagine the president calling saltlake city for advice on what to do?  Or at least saltlake city telling him what he should do... and he should of course follow their recommendations... not worth an eternity with out your own planet to rule
