Since then, Democrats have ranged from 34% (Walter Mondale in 1984) to 44% (Bill Clinton in 1996).
It is clear that the powerful leftist union that runs the IRS took it to heart and openly targeted Tea Party groups..Obama set the tone .
On many occasions, President Obama made it clear that the Tea Party types were his enemies. On the campaign trail, Obama said, ”…we’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends”.
Mr. Obama’s job approval rating now stands at 45% positive vs. 49% negative, hurt by a sharp shift in independents’ views. That’s a turnaround from his marks in a May 1 Quinnipiac survey, which had his rating at 48% positive and 45% negative.
The earlier poll was conducted before the Internal Revenue Service scandal involving its reviews of conservative organizations came to light.
