 More money would be in your pocket if the party who claims to be fiscally responsible WERE fiscally responsible. Giving freebies via more debt is not putting money in your pocket its akin to taking out a cash advance on your 22% credit card, you WILL pay for whatever you are thinking you are getting and that will be by higher inflation, less benefits and less services when you need them.

I find it ironic that people at a certain age do not understand the concept of future need that you think if you get something NOW that there is no future consequence, ask any retired individual if their purchasing power declines as they age and the answer is yes. You MIGHT get a nickel in your pocket to put in the slot machine but you will pay with hundred dollar bills and then some when the crap hits the fan for YOU and for everyone.

Short sided economics is what is crushing the future of Americans...give me a nickel now and I will pay you back 100 bucks later, yeah smart thinking.

 Unfortunately stuff like that is just pork posturing and that is why the senate took 500 hours to debate this mess it is so all of the players get to put in their pork slop so they get their back scratched in order to pass this abomination. It isnt like Biden didnt do the same thing and that both parties are guilty because everyone is bought and paid for if you give them their slice of the pie then they will play ball.

About the only person in politics that might be considered true to the office is that bizarro Paul child who also has his pet projects and is paid for but not as quickly and easily as most of these politicians.

Right now, we can go anywhere anytime without getting an OK from anyone. I'm sure we have some hypochondriacs who abuse the system but let's be real. I don't know anyone over 65 that has services provided they don't need. Hell, every time we visit the doctor we're concerned they will find something we need fixed!

It's just going to be a pain in the ass for those affected over the next 5 years.
