Does it really matter where you procure your Chinese goods as long as they come from China?

Maybe it's because I feel better in my 70s than I did in my 40s. I used to have debilitating migraine headaches. But since I learned to hyperlink I haven't had a headache since. I feel happier than anytime in my life. I had health issues, but I learned to eat properly and exercise. I swim twice a day. I avoid air pollution and noise too. My investments are doing much better. That's weird, isn't it ? All because of a silly little hyperlink.

don juan, in society, individuals, corporations, and govt all make every effort intentionally to formulate successful strategies for continued existence. They adapt these strategies in the fullness of time and modify their tactics as circumstances come to change. Nonetheless, in due course, doom falls on social and economic activity, regardless of a corporation’s capability to act with premeditated intent of strengthening their businesses continued existence. Fear of not being in existence drives the corporate course of action to act as it does, long before greed, which is a human, not economic mechanisms.
The decades around the beginning of the last century saw enormous companies come into sight for the first time, introducing completely fresh administration problems in provisions of bringing together and organizing the operations of these immense entities. For the duration of these decades, in the economic realms, styles of organizing economics collapsed as businesses failed to comprehend and adapt to a swiftly changing economic-atmosphere. In spite of this, correspondingly, those enterprises that continued to exist from this tumultuous period were booming to an extent without precedent. Conglomerate enterprises, so customary recognizable in today’s business landscape, was fundamentally shaped during this era, where the seeds of globalization were sown over a century ago. The perils of multinationals on their smaller competitors today, are not a new sensation.
One significant phase along the way was the introduction of limited liability. Folks need no longer face the peril of personal bankruptcy when they coordinate a commercial venture. Undeniably, you possibly will consider this distinct characteristic has breached an innovative threshold too far. Directors, facing cipher personal risk at all, garner extravagant plunders for financial failure, financial catastrophe with money of anonymous investors. A type of corporate thievery has been committed in numerous instances. However this latter is a modern occurrence, and the notion of limited liability has been immensely good and constructive. All corporate decisions are attached to risk. The scale of risk may fluctuate significantly, but no assessment of a situation can guarantee success once a decision is taken. The boundary placed on legal accountability facilitated a flood of innovation and capitalist activity. Folks are free from the restraint of having to gamble ones entire wealth on a brand new business venture where that entire wealth is at risk on a daily basis.
The majority of the purchases made today, simply were not in existence in the early half of last century, but the velocity of innovation and development of economic establishments was brisk, and was matched by a trend of collapses as antique, less cost-effective organizations failed to subsist, as we witness in today’s landscape. Consumers today are habituated to idea of the price tag of newly introduced technology products to the market decreasing considerably, an identical event that occurred in the technological revolutionary industries of the late 19th century.
Today, most comments towards the private-sector continue to both laud and condemn their success. We witness businesses that continue to exist, and their success, for good or bad, is glorified. But corporate collapses in the private-sector remain nearly forgotten. Private sector enterprise can collapses for numerous reasons, some of which may be universal, such as a recession, but the central reason is running out of money, and the business is deficient in adequate revenue to cover costs and are powerless to solicit, have access to, or thieve to plug the holes. It should be blatant that revenue depends on the quantity of the product sold, and the price it is sold at. Deciding on a price of a product is exigent and thorny decision for businesses, especially Wal-Mart. If a business makes a big enough blunder in this, or preserves with a moderately slight error slip for an adequately lengthy period, it will collapse. The pricing of products is such an intricate topic, especially with the uncertainty of the market, that an anti-Wal-Mart twenty-fact summary simply does not consider why Wal-Mart has taken its specific line of attack to strengthen its continued existence. Corporate enterprise is not as uncomplicated and straightforward as economic literature and political ideology imagine it is. I perceive the same evil in the system as you, don juan, but our understanding and solution of it is a world apart.

really...is there ONE product where WalMart is $200 cheaper than another store? ...or even $100 ????? ....wasn't aware that Wally World even had that many products over 200 bucks ![]()
Read my post carefully, I said "IF there were a couple hundred price differential ..."
Wally World has many products that you can save $$$ on. While I'm not their spokesperson by any means, you can certainly save big on electronics and car/truck tires as I have done. And yes, I'd say Walmart has MANY products over $100/$200.

Continuation.
The message above was in response to AcerRuberon. My whole point was why not go to Walmart to buy the same product cheaper than whoever across the street? Go to a small business and pay more? No, thanks. Small businesses need to stay competitive or the market will flush them out. Just the reality of todays market. End of story.

So Canosvp, since you saw a special about sam walton on t.v. and how he grew up poor, that makes him a good person.
Sorry but his business model of importing everything from china put many small business owners right out of business. Dont you remember when walmart was doing false advertising saying things were made in America that werent.
I dont see walmart as some great American story, just as dont look at sam walton as some hero. To me they are a ruthless family, but if you like them thats your choice.
Look at joe pa pa, everybody loved the guy and now look at what a low life piece of shit he really was.
Just remember some show on t.v. doesnt mean thats how sam walton really was

Beeasy,
so since you dont like spending your money on things to enjoy in life, others who do must be crazy?
Not everybody in the world wants to spend their money buying pot and getting high 24/7/365 like you do.
not everybody thinks they are missing out something because they dont smoke pot.
so the same people you make fun of for buying things they get enjoyment out of, can make fun of you for devoting your whole life to the pot plant![]()

Hey Cave, let me tell you a dirty little secret about walmart and sams clubs that they dont tell you about tires.
If you go into one of the stores and pick out say a goodyear assurance tire, that tire will not be the same as a goodyear assurance tire you can buy at a goodyear place. They might look exactly the same with all the same markings, but they are 2 entirely differnt tires, the ones sold at walmarts are a lowe quality then the ones sold at a goodyear place, thats why they are cheaper. Walmart has goodyear and other tire companies make tires just for their stores with lower specs.
This was told to me me by 2 differnt people. One person was a longtime manager of a goodyear store and the second was a friend who is a boss in a goodyear plant.
This is another one of walmarts deceptive selling secrets. The store is pure evil.
People go in thinking they are getting a real goodyear tire, when the truth is they are getting a watered down goodyear tire.
Just remember if a price sounds to good to be true, then it probably is not very good![]()
walmart is the king of deception hands down

Cave, you say small business owners should stay competitive.
There is no way any small business owner can sell any product lower then a walmart. Thats just impossible. A small business owner could never get the same products for what walmart pays. This is why walmart is putting small business owners out of business. If you think saving a few bucks at walmart at the expense of small business, then am sorry but i consider you another phony American, whos only thinking about himself.
Human greed and selfiness is what is going to completely destroy our country one day![]()

cd, regarding tires from Walmart ... if the product is defective or of less quality than the SAME product across the street, then obviously this would be a different story. That would be fraud on the part of Walmart and I would be pissed. I would like to see some proof.
You said, "If you think saving a few bucks at walmart at the expense of small business, then am sorry but i consider you another phony American, whos only thinking about himself". Your comment regarding me is ridiculous. Since when is a price sensitive consumer a phony American? So you want me to go look for small stores, pay more so I can be a non phony American? You're young and naive. If you waved your dungeon and dragons wand and made all the Walmarts go away, what do you think will happen tomorrow? A venture capitalist or hedge fund would bankroll the next Wallmart and we'd be back to square one. This is the free markets ... get used to it, get over it and adapt.

I agree with AHD. And Wallyworld sells alot of American made products besides the foreign ones.
People that despise walmart are just ignorant poop heads.
Why should I as a consumer have to run around to 12 mom and pop shops to fullfil my needs as a consumer when I can just pop into one wallyworld and save time and markup?
