I hope you didn't take my remarks as a direct shot at you, it was intended as a general comment on how we all believe what we read all too often these days without doing our own research.

As for the rest of your drivel, you cannot blame everything solely on Reps.  The economy, foreign policy and wall street issues have been coming down the line for a lot longer than 8 years.  The federal government has become a wasteland were those who are elected only pass legislation that they think will get them re-elected.  Very few things actually get passed that are good for the whole country, it is mostly spend now and let future generations worry about the the ramifications.

I am not a fan of the federal government period.  But I definately do lean conservative since they say that they are for a smaller federal government (neither party really is, if they were they would be out of a job)

And the last thing I would want is for the Dems to try to "fix" anything.

What are we going to do sit back and watch the economy on its death bed untill it finally dies.  As of now, I am against the bailout and i understand the clock is ticking, but i also understand it may be the only hope

America is doomed.  "F" us for electing such shit-bags into office.  We made our bed and now we need to lay in it.  Maybe we will learn something from some economic struggles.  Life will still go on.  Some of the best things in life are free anyhow....

You do know that Honda makes cars here in the US right?  And that american car you are buying might be made in Canada with parts from Mexico or Japan.  Let's just say you haven't owned an Asian based company's car.

And while you're not convinced the housing market is the problem, you admit not knowing much about the freddie/fannie issue.  So how do you know it's not the problem?   What companies are failing or have failed?  I think that's the first thing you should look into.  You'll find there's a pattern with all of them and how they went under.  Let me know if you need more clues.

I find it interesting that before the Senate passed the measure, it was a bailout to help people in foreclosure and after, it was a bank bailout. It will help no one in foreclosure, sorry people, you have been had.

Should you feel better OJ was found guilty? No, he is not worth a dime when it comes to saving your homes. He was simply found guilty.
