A coin toss has odds at -105/-110. Obama was a -350 or even higher favorite the week or so before the election. It really was quite easy and not surprising at all to see the result. I have several Republican friends who fell into your same trap Slim so you definitely are not alone.
Lets not do revisionist history...
frc, 14 and the rest of the cut/paste partisan lemmings fell into the trap...
Im pretty sure sara knew Romney was a Complete Loser... that is why you saw him obsessively grasp at anything and everything he could fabricate negative spin concerning obama...
I dont remember him posting that romney was going to win like the other sheep...
I had obama -113 which was the best odds I thought I could get...
I never really understood those more complicated "swiss cheese roulette/partial hedge bets for -274 odds" that people were raving about having such amazing value

as a non-partisan independent, I dont take sides...
It is true that FRC, 14 and others looked like complete fools on election day, but I dont remember sara making such claims...
I am not accusing you of anything malicious admittedly it is hard to tell the cut/paste partisan lemmings apart, especially since they all agree and post the same rhetoric...
but my only agenda is truth, and I have no problem defending sara... I really dont know what his problem is with me... I have had nothing against him historically... its just weird how he gets some times

at the end of the day I consider all of us adults. As adults I believe it is our duty to act responsibly.
With all due respect Club; I think that we should avoid discussions based on fairy tales . Nothing good can come from it.
The only fairy tales I like are the ones that I read at bed time to my 4 year old daughter.
while it could be said that the cut/paste GOP partisan lemmings on this site are well known for living in Fantasy Land and Spin some really hilarious fairy tales,
I really think youre not being fair here...
Its like those threads about poverty in red states... or the IQ of red states vs blue states...
Even though the numbers show that red states are dumber, that doesnt mean that all the people in a red state and dumber then all the people in the blue state... or that poverty/welfare/government dependence never occurs in blue states...
The reality is that the GOP are stupid... but somehow they have made some absolute blunders in strategy and that is what this thread is about... the utter fumbles choices in strategy... I honestly believe that with better choices in strategy to actually try to win the 2016 presidential election they can pull it off...
But the choice to put alot of time and energy into a "war against women" and other racist or bigoted agendas that are a unifying part of their base alienates voters that they need to decide on coming on over to their side...

So Hillary is also a two term president? She will be a hard act to follow but as long as the GOP remains the party of stupid the Democrats can nominate an ostrich and still win on intelligence.
thats the problem... its not like the Dems are rock stars, slick politicians, got people fooled or whatever rhetoric the GOP/foxnews/talking heads prescribe people to believe...
the reality is that they can nominate an ostrich, an iguana, a monkey (easy there bigots... Im just using a zoo metaphor), a lion and an elephant, or any animal in the zoo...
while the GOP as we saw in 2012 cant seem to pick any animal in their zoo to be a viable candidate...
Im still not convinced that hillary is going to be president, even for one term... Shes old, connected with scandal and far more set on imposing a feminist/Dem agenda than obama the centrist...
She will attack social issues and use the "GOP War on Women" against them to push through alot of crap... and if the GOP uses its Failed "its about the economy" strategy again they will basically hand over the cultural/social power over...
So the sentiment of the thread looks at if GOP were smart they wouldnt do things that would have them Lose in the end...
But I am also saying that it is imperative that the "GOP get their Head out of their behind" because of what I am predicting if hillary becomes president...
and gaymarriage will happen in the hillary era and that will be just the tip of the social/feminist iceberg...
we need the "GOP get their Head out of their behind"... the stakes are high
