just because they say fair and balanced, I think majority of the people that watch it know how biased it is...  and I can say that without mentioning the any other networks, shows or people...

This thread is about fox news...  and to take it else where is silly...

I do think that this is a highly political topic because as we see on this forum, fox news dictates how people think and chooses a prescribed view for every issue...  this affects how people vote...

so sure, bengazi is the current talking point, its was guns and trannies for a while, obamacare before that...  programming the mindless drones is big business...

and although most fox news watchers are well aware of the Spin and bias of the propaganda, there are many that actually believe that it is fair and balanced and everything that is not fox news is the "liberal media"

and while I do believe that the "liberal media" does now exist with msnbc, the actual lie of all media being completely liberally biased started well before that...  it is actually a pretty good lie and fox news fills that hole well...  

but like I said... I guess I have faith with the rightwingers that more of them actually recognize the lies and huge bias of fox news as a propaganda machine then the partisan lemmings that bite hook-line-and-sinker..... you seem like you dont have faith that the majority are not mindless partisan lemmings...

as we have seen with the (R-Closet) folks, the right has absolutely no problem with lies, deception and falsely created fabrications...  and that is why fox news with never go out of business, nor will the overall business of herding the right-winged-sheeple which includes talkradio, blogs, email-chains, talking heads etc... 

alot of  money to be made off of herding the right-winged-sheeple... and that is why the rating are the way they are...  face reality don... you may not like it, but the fox "news" propaganda is a powerful machine and they have targeted the perfect segment of the population for their method...

This thread could go on and on and they will never convince me that when real news breaks the majority run to Faux and you'll never convince me the ratings are legitimate.

I guess you are right DL36 that Faux fills the needs of the frustrated, along with bias talk radio,the Rush heads,

 And, it looks like they'll be around for awhile because there has not been a repulsican voted by the majority of people into the White House for 21 years. Their cheating and lies are magnified now that we are the instant information society.

Faux will eventually go the way of TV wrestling when TV cable a la carte comes and the radio Rush Limbaugh will be gone within 3 more years.

Couldn't tell you. 

Every major news organization has foreign holdings, and large corporations backing it.  

I can not honestly say that there is an independent and unbiased news network in existence today.  

I would be inclined to say "alternative media" is your best bet for unbiased news, but guys like Alex Jones, or World Net Daily, do not have the same standard for "truth", meaning they can run with anything, without vetting their info, which leads to a lot of incorrect information.

Months ago in a thread I asked where other people go for their news. It was another thread about FOX News. The reason I asked was because there aren't any unbiased news sources. It doesn't matter if it's TV, Radio, Print, or Internet. The people who run these outlets have political leanings and they do not check them at the door.

There is not a single news outlet that I think doesnt have a bias.

I thought this thread was about the popularity of Fox News but maybe I was wrong.

The media seems to be slowly realizing that Obama and his cronies are up to some really dangerous big brother type of shenanigans......and its just not Fox News reporting on it

That's exactly what your problem lies. How do you define being in the "majority"? By the voting result on POTUS or on ANY single issue you happen to agree on with most?  Better yet(for this thread purpose only), on the thing( FoxNews rating) the majority seem to disagree with you, you just ignore it altogether. No wonder you ALWAYS will be the majority.

Seriously. most people are going to be on different sides on different issues and that doesn't make them "flip-floopers". By the same token, voting STICTLY based on party affiliation doesn't make that person a "patriot", either.

The main stream media is picking up the IRS story as well as the AP story. Until the facts are out don't e so quick to clear Obama. He says he first heard about the IRS deal in the news on Friday like the rest of us yet the facts already show top level Washington people knew in April.
Either the guy is out of touch or he is lying. Both are inexcusable in my mind.

Also, don't jump to conclusions that if someone wants answers on what the Feds are up to that they watch Fox News or are what you refer as repulsicans.
As someone here already said most of us agree with issues that one party or the other supports. You however follow the letter associated with a politicians name and can't see anything outside of that. That is a closed mind existence.

HLN and CNN leapfrogged MSNBC in April in total viewers and the all-important 25-54 demo. So the fourth place finishes have continued for MSNBC.


It is quite clear which channel will go out of business with "al-la-carte" programming.

FYI, It may make you look bad in the future to call one of the persons who can hold an argument for hours with all you liberals on this site.

FWIW, 14 is probably one of the best on here at presenting his arguments. Most of you simply choose to label him as an extremist rather than put forth effort to try to compete with him. Typical liberal tactic. One of your favorite things to do if you don't agree with a person.
