A federal judge has rejected the plea deal that would have allowed the Georgia murderers of Ahmed Arbery to do their time in federal prison rather than state prison where they will be less protected.
Local prosecutors allowed these peckerheads to get away with their crime until the state & the Feds stepped in.

CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker said Wednesday that he is resigning, effective immediately.
Zucker said in a memo, "As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo's tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years. I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn't. I was wrong. As a result, I am resigning today."
Zucker did not name his colleague in the memo,
but the relationship is with Allison Gollust, the chief marketing officer for CNN.
Gollust is remaining at CNN.
In an email to staffers sent shortly after Zucker's, Jason Kilar, the CEO of CNN parent WarnerMedia, said, "I have accepted Jeff Zucker's resignation as Chairman of WarnerMedia News and Sports, and President of CNN Worldwide. We thank Jeff for his contributions over the past 9 years."

on Jan. 20, 2021, floridas apparent " psuedo-nazi supporting " governor , ron DeSantis , barely registered, coming in with 66/1 odds of winning the presidency in 2024 .
but , since more factual revelations about donald trumps criminal schemes to overturn the will of the voters in 2020 , DeSantis’ odds have tremendously improved since trump is his main republican opponent to the nomination . desantis now standing at 8/1 as of Friday to upset chump and go on to win in 2024!

The @FBI has identified at least six juveniles believed to be involved in a rash of bomb threats directed at places of worship and HBCUs, law-enforcement officials said. They are thought to have used a spoofed number to disguise the source of the calls.
DOJ rarely prosecuted juveniles, but these folks deserve special consideration.

Multiple elderly public housing residents in Miami found their voter registration changed from Democratic to Republican after accepting help from volunteers in red GOP caps who came to their building.
Local reports state this isn't an isolated incident within the state. Many of the elderly in South Florida don't speak English & no longer have family in the area. They are susceptible to fraudsters.

ed note, I agree with this! It's reasonable to me. This is *NOT* a liberal/conservative issue. It is about fairness in sports. As long as the transgender woman (born male!) is still WELCOME to challenge for places on "male" teams I am fully supportive.

ruling 4-3 that they violate the state constitution!
