doesnt look like rump will be able to kill enough Americans to catch the top 4

adolf trump will just have to settle for being the man in charge when a pandemic broke out that will kill over 600,000 Americans  while he not only downplayed the whole thing (on recorded audio tape) but he chose to literally do very little if anything either to prevent further damage or contain it .......on his watch

    History made:
    Renewable energy surpassed fossil fuels
    for European electricity in 2020

Europeans got more of their electricity from renewable sources than fossil fuels
for the first time last year, according to an annual report from Ember and Agora
Energiewende. The shift comes as other sources, such as wind and solar power,
have risen in the European Union. Both sources have nearly doubled since 2015. an_light an_light

Both sources have nearly doubled since 2015. an_light

    Wisconsin's REPUBLICAN State Senate
votes to end statewide mask mandate

    CNN
The Wisconsin State Senate voted Tuesday to repeal Gov. Tony Evers’ statewide
mask mandate, with a crucial vote scheduled in the State Assembly on Thursday
    morning.
The resolution, aims to declare the public health emergency unlawful and
terminate all actions included in the Democratic governor’s most recent executive order,
    the joint resolution states.

Evers’ most recent executive order, issued January 19, calls for face coverings to be worn
by all people over age 5 when they are in indoor or enclosed public spaces
with other people in the same room.

Only two Republican lawmakers opposed the really stupid measure.

Rick Davis, the executive vice president of news standards and practices,
charged with keeping CNN's editorial standards high across all of its platforms,
is retiring after 40 successful years

CNN's system, known as the standards and practices department, consists of
senior editors on The Row;   standards editors;   and lawyers.
"We triple team these tough stories,"  Davis explained, "and challenge
our colleagues to make sure what they're doing is accurate.
What have they left out? What do they need to go back and check out?
Have they been fair to the other side?"

In an interview, he emphasized that the process is a team effort.
"We are the skeptical filter for our colleagues regarding the work
they're doing before it gets published," he said.

Mistakes still happen, as any journalist can attest.
"We do a postmortem when we make a mistake," Davis said.
"We huddle up with everybody involved to find out what went wrong
[and ask] what can we do to make sure that it doesn't happen again.
We take that very seriously because our brand is based on trust."

Currently, among the top 3 cable news networks, CNN ranks the highest
in RELIABILITY (facts/truth) as well as rated the least partisan-biased.

Now CNN has higher ratings than MSNBC and Fox.  Mainstream media has suffered from oppressive government.  But polls show most people trust mainstream media more than social media.  News are more likely to be scrutinized by editors in mainstream media.  Whereas  social media tends to care less about accuracy if ideology, profitability or attracting an audience is more important.

That is what's done in America and why America can not even ask the up or Interpol for cooperation.

And they squashed her 2 minute allowed testimony by a kid who can't even enter a casino floor with the American press hint she is a Democratic governor of maine... so... your party lacks as just moral or ethical character as Kim hun un from North korea. It is now 25 days since the attack on the Capitol and NOT ONE piece of security camera footage showing who the Republican members of Congress were who gave the terrorist leaders a reconnaissance tour has been released. The police & FBI know who was involved.

When will the American public be told?

New Defense Secretary dismisses hundreds of members
of Pentagon advisory boards, including late Trump appointees

    CNN
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has dismissed hundreds of members of 42 Pentagon
advisory boards, including controversial late appointments by the Trump administration,
as the Pentagon announced a review of the boards' memberships Tuesday.
The announcement comes after the previous administration appointed several loyalists
to advisory boards in the final months of former President Donald Trump's term including
former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie, who served as
    his deputy campaign manager.
The Pentagon took no pains to hide the fact Austin took the action because of
concerns the Trump administration had openly packed some boards with loyalists.

The 42 advisory boards cost taxpayers millions of dollars each year and some of their
work is believed to be potentially redundant, which added to the need for the review.
The action effectively removes, for now, several hundred people serving on boards

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has dismissed hundreds of members of 42 Pentagon

as the Pentagon announced a review of the boards' memberships Tuesday.

Liz Cheney survives House GOP vote
    to keep her leadership role

(CNN) House Republicans voted Wednesday night that Rep. Liz Cheney should keep her post
in House GOP leadership after she defended her support for impeachment as a vote of
conscience during a contentious closed-door GOP conference meeting.

The vote took place after some stupid Republicans argued that Cheney should be removed
from leadership for telling the TRUTH and voting to impeach the disgraced former President
Trump for inciting an insurrection at the Capitol.
Cheney prevailed by a wide margin.
The vote was 145 to keep her in her position as House Republican Conference chair,
and only 61 to remove her.

$2.7 BILLION lawsuit names Fox News

New York (CNN) A voting technology company swept up in baseless conspiracy theories
about the 2020 election filed a monster $2.7 billion lawsuit on Thursday against Fox News,
some of the network's star hosts, and pro-Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell,
alleging the parties worked in concert to wage a "disinformation campaign" that
    has jeopardized its very survival.

The lawsuit, filed in New York state court, accused Fox, Giuliani, Powell and
hosts Lou Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo, and Jeanine Pirro of intentionally lying about Smartmatic
in an effort to mislead the public into the false belief that the 2020 presidential election
was stolen from former President Donald Trump.
"They needed a villain," the lawsuit said. "They needed someone to blame.
They needed someone whom they could get others to hate. A story of good
versus evil, the type that would incite an angry mob, only works if the storyteller
provides the audience with someone who personifies evil."
"Without any true villain, the defendants invented one," the lawsuit added.

In the immediate aftermath of his loss, Trump falsely asserted that the election
had been rigged against him. His allies, including Fox, Giuliani, and Powell,
promoted various conspiracy theories about Smartmatic, which
only provided its services to Los Angeles County,
    to support Trump's false claims.
The baseless conspiracy theories peddled about Smartmatic, which mimicked those
pushed against Dominion, falsely suggested that the company's technology was used
throughout the country and allowed the November vote to be rigged against Trump. an_light
