While Mr. Trump won that Texas district by 17 points in 2024, Rehmet won his race by 14 points.

 Republicans have not yet had any special election legislative pickups during Trump's second term. But Democrats have flipped eight (8) previously GOP-held districts in special elections since Trump took office.

Most Liberals are anti-racism, while it is empirically self-evident that a majority of conservatives (but not all) are ok with it and/or openly engage in it.  Liberals tend to migrate to the modern day version of the Democratic Party.  Conservatives migrate to the modern day republican party (right wing) -- although it is true that right-wing conservatives at one time in our history chose to call themselves the Democratic Party.  150 years ago those same right-wing conservatives could have called themselves the Allen Parson Project for all we care --- it would not have changed their ideology of right-wing conservatism

Republican House Oversight chair subpoenas Pam Bondi

REPUBLICAN House Oversight Chair James Comer on Tuesday issued a subpoena to Attorney General Pam Bondi to appear for a deposition on April 14.

Comer wrote in the subpoena cover letter that his panel is investigating the “possible mismanagement of the federal government’s investigation” into Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Gotta share that our Coast Guard down here is outstanding.

Last week, they were monitoring a boat they believed was smuggling immigrants. Once they entered US waters @ 1:45 AM, the Coast Guard lit them up with lights blinding everyone onboard. They ordered the captain to turn off his engines but he decided to make a run for it. 15 illegals from the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Haiti & Ecuador were found on the boat.

A warning shot was fired & when the boat wasn't stopping the Guard blew up their engines with about 10 rounds fired. But there's more....

The boat captain was caught before, held for 5 years in a US prison & was deported to the Bahamas in January of this year. That was only 2 months agon & this fucker is back at it again. 

One of his illegals had been caught & deported back to Ecuador in 2023. The Dominican was arrested for drug smuggling in 2021 & deported in 2023. Also in 2023, another illegal was sentenced to 5 years for drug smuggling & was deported in October 24. They just keep on trying.

Shooting out the engines would be a common maneuver to stop/disable a boat I would think.

Wonder why that maneuver wasn't performed instead of murdering fisherman trying to make a living? Bitch move IMO.
