Under pressure from Trump, loyalists indict Comey after past attorney generals refused to prosecute him because of insufficient proof beyond reasonable doubt.  On X, Ed Krassenstein says that Comey is being indicted for telling congress he did not leak classified information.  But in 2019, justice department declined to prosecute Comey because the information was not classified.  Weaponized prosecution against political enemies is what fascism looks like.

I'm sure those who served prior to 1980, were regularly exposed to verbal & physical abuse by drill sergeants. It wasn't until 1980 when these activities were outlawed. I'm sure we all have seen out of control drill sergeants kicking soldiers in the ass, shoving their heads into mud piles & ordered to stand at attention for hours.

Goal of business is to make a profit.  But goal of government is to ensure well being of its citizens.  Functions include representing the needs of people, minimizing inequality and providing public goods that benefit everyone.  Problem is that not everything profitable is of social value and not everything of social value is profitable.  So proper role of government should be the latter.

Evidence appears to undercut Trump's pursuit of claims against James, prosecutors found

Prosecutors who investigated New York Attorney General Letitia James [at the direct behest of the racist/convicted felon in the Oval] for "possible mortgage fraud" actually found evidence that would appear to undercut some of the allegations in the [hurried/vindictive] indictment of James [a black woman] -- including the degree to which James personally profited from her purchase of the property -- according to a memo summarizing the state of the case in September, sources told ABC News.

The Trump government lawyers also expressed concern that the case could likely *NOT* be proven beyond a reasonable doubt because federal mortgage guidelines for a second home do not clearly define occupancy, a key element of the case.

Today, Trump’s loyalist Justice Department is apparently sanctioning its own prosecutors for calling January 6 a mere “mob of rioters.”

Part of the reason that I pulled for Magic tonight who stumped for Kamala Harris in last presidential election at Flint, Michigan. I've watched that YouTube video few times, and feel inspired by him. 

The "SUBWAY Sandwich Guy" was acquitted by a jury of his peers. No ham, no foul so to speak. Personally, I find him guilty of eating at SUBWAY. But he was indeed in a pickle but the case was full of baloney. Did the cop go to the MAYO clinic for his injuries?
