If you are suggesting that some posters do not create threads for the sole intent of bashing a certain party I think you might want to reconsider that mistaken viewpoint.


Yes, Stilin, Clubdirt, Don Juan and CD make threads bashing the Republican party all the time. There is no other purpose for those threads than to bash Republicans (or Romney).

That's what you were talking about, right?

If you cannot admit you bring plenty on yourself with the personal digs you make and the threads/posts created to piss people off I guess we can treat you like age you are acting in doing so.

Yes it is obvious to everyone that you piss several people off, they piss you off..back and forth with you and several on your side against several on the other side.

If you are serious about the concern regarding people picking on you, let me suggest you start from this very second and stop attacking others..dont go into others thread to start trouble. Steer clear of combative, personal petty exchanges and see if the number of return replies goes down.

I am quite positive if you set a good example of respectful posting then you will be rewarded with a more positive, uplifting experience here.

If you look at the propublica link I provided previously, you will see that the financial arms of GM(Ally) and Chrysler received monies in accordance with the bailout. These monies were given just prior to Obama taking office and make the 23+ billion number entirely accurate.

As to the wiretaps, in 2006 Judge Anna Diggs Taylor found wiretapping to be illegal. However this decision was reversed due to the plaintiffs not being able to prove they were wiretapped. In 2010 a second judge found wiretapping to be illegal. Judge Vaughn Walker issued this decision.That position, he said, would enable government officials to flout the warrant law, even though Congress had enacted it “specifically to rein in and create a judicial check for executive-branch abuses of surveillance authority.”

The legislation essentially legalized certain aspects of the program. As a senator then, Barack Obama voted in favor of the new law, despite objections from many of his supporters. President Obama’s administration now relies heavily on such surveillance in its fight against Al Qaeda.

So you are going the innocent route then. I guess if you cannot see that you create all you receive and more then I guess I will have to agree with you regarding the discussion being pointless.

You are far from innocent 14..yeah you can find a post or even five that are not a back and forth, I can also find many which you are well involved and have responsibility.

It isnt gray here, its either you are involved and responsible or you are innocent of any involvement.

You provided nothing, for the 5000 posts you have made I am sure there are many which have set many members off and yes some people like you are unable to post only on content and steer clear of personal attacks or insults.

As for warning others you have no idea what is done, so continue speculating and making "facts" when the reality is the exact opposite is a fact.

I dont care if you want to fight in the penalty box, but if you bash members outside the mains then you know what will happen.

Also..you can PM a mod at any time if you feel someone is breaking the rules in the main forums. I think that is a concept a few of you should consider versus making these inaccurate, biased accusations in the open area.

Actually, its really, really gray because of a selective enforcement of the rules.

See, if " bashing members" has repercussions, then that would mean it applies in the instances of actual bashings.
The standard should be the standard.
As we see with your selective enforcement, the standard is a moving target.

Feel free to send any moderator a PM if you feel as if someone is attacking you and you are innocent of any involvement, but be sure if you do so that often times it wont help your situation if you are also in the middle of the problem and have responsibility.

How about you try and just steer clear of any future fighting in the main forums, that sounds like the best solution from today forward.

But lawyers for Al Haramain were quick to argue that the ruling undermined the legal underpinnings of the war against terrorism.

One of them, Jon Eisenberg, said Judge Walker’s ruling was an “implicit repudiation of the Bush-Cheney theory of executive power.”

“Judge Walker is saying that FISA and federal statutes like it are not optional,” Mr. Eisenberg said. “The president, just like any other citizen of the United States, is bound by the law. Obeying Congressional legislation shouldn’t be optional with the president of the U.S.”

By the way, I vehemently disagree with
Obama's continuation of the wiretapping. So your assumption about my politics is null.

Note: you have multiple people telling you the same thing and your reaction is to:

-Attempt to change the subject
-Make things up
-Deflect from your actions

Again, people telling the truth do that sort of stuff all the time.

Destroy? How so? That is an awfully strong adjective when I simply presented what you asked for: 2 judges who found NSA wiretapping, started under Bush, to be illegal.  
Simply because Judge Walker did not address specific arguments made 5 years prior does not diminish or change the finality of his conclusion based on the evidence presented at trial. In this instance, Bush sanctioned NSA wiretapping was deemed completely illegal. There is room for ambiguity as to the merits of each sides' argument and its ultimately responsible parties. 

However, illegal remains illegal. That is what you asked to be presented in post #99.
