There's really only one way it can go now that the FAILED trump-regime left us with the WORST contraction since WWII.
And one would presume as the economy does better then the stock market is likely to as well, overall (notwithstanding the typical fluctuations)

According to nonpartisan congress budget office, US economy is forecasted to recover even without new stimulus. GDP growth to average 2.6% over the next 5 years. Unemployment to fall to 5.3% in 2021 and further to 4% between 2024 and 2025. So job market may return to pre-pandemic level by 2022.
