Musk just got a new 40 billion dollar space x contract this week, while this south african piece of shit is trying to destroy our country.  Govt also ordering new telsas.  No conflict of interest happening there.  Wake up people before its too late.  We all wondered where this money was coming from, and I think we have just scratched the surface of the fraud. Think about it, the democrats used our tax dollars to destroy our country.   I completely agree. The Biden administration is getting off scot-free. They stole billions in taxpayer money, BILLIONS! Elon Musk’s DOGE has revealed that the federal government is using an old limestone mine in Pennsylvania to store tens of thousands, if not millions of physical paper files in cardboard boxes.

The files are just retirement documents for federal workers, so could easily be digitised, yet the government has continued to physically store them.

The mine is 230 feet underground and requires over 700 workers with the Office of Personnel Management to operate and upkeep it.

Musk shared the insane finding, noting “Maybe it’s just me, but I think there is room for improvement here.”

The vault inside Iron Mountain which is equipped with a huge reservoir for geothermal cooling. 

A 2021 report uncovered that despite spending $106 million spent trying to digitize the process, the government abandoned the idea and decided to stick with the stone mine.

The file cabinets full of paper and the massive amounts of space they require are necessary because the system hasn’t changed since the 1970s. Employees at the Office of Personnel Management create individual physical file folders for each retired employee. Even if a piece of paperwork associated with the file starts off in digital form, it has to eventually become a physical paper in the file because there’s no computer system yet that can manage the detailed calculations involved.

Three attempts to digitize the documents have failed. If DOGE has a solution great! If not, WTF does this news matter?

  There was a clip a few years back of a Congressman holding up a 8 inch floppy, showing what they were still using for data storage. He commented that it would take a couple million of them to store what the average HD does these days.

It's all about the funding.

Congress hasn't allocated bucks for the modernization of the archaic legacy systems/applications/software & hardware.

It's not a sexy project to sell to their constituents, so now that Muskrat has shone a light on the subject I'll wager that still nothing will happen. 

It's old news already & the outrage that will be gone by next week.

If FEMA money is used for illegal migrants to be housed in luxury hotels, I have no problem with it.

Even Joliet’s economic development director admitted, “Now we have in our community a large space that is potentially going to sit vacant for a while.” Translation: We were conned, and now we’re stuck with an empty factory?.

Lion Electric’s collapse follows a familiar pattern of government-funded green energy disasters:

1. Biden administration throws taxpayer money at a politically favored company.
2. Company was already financially unstable but gets millions anyway.
3. Company burns through cash, fails to deliver, then collapses.
4. Taxpayers and local communities are left with nothing but empty promises.

The US government sent $2.7 TRILLION in Medicare & Medicaid money overseas to people who were NOT eligible to receive it. That’s 8% of our national debt. Medicare isn't going broke. The money is being stolen.    Who are those recipients? Who got kickbacks? We want answers.

Without evidence, Musk falsely alleges that FEMA sent $59 million intended for disaster relief to New York to house migrants  according to fact check by Annenberg policy center.  Actually, congress approved funds for Homeland security department to provide housing for migrants awaiting immigration hearings.  As a result, Trump administration illegally revoked $80 million for New York from congress.  Trump and Musk have a history of reneging on legal contracts and refusing to pay.

Evidently this goes back to 2003 so there is plenty of blame to go around including Congress.

Now a plan needs to be developed, not a concept of a plan, to carefully identify loopholes & culprits involved. It's not an easy task but must be done. 

What can't be done is to use the BROAD BRUSH approach that paints everyone as being an abuser & stopping services for those in need.

It's easy to identify problems but finding long term solutions...not so easy.

Afederal judge delivered the Trump administration a legal win on Wednesday when he ruled that it can continue its efforts to withhold tens of millions of dollars in funding for hotel costs for migrants in New York City.

Doesn't look illegal to me.

 I think part of the reason dems hate it so much is because their party didn't do it, & if it works they'll get no credit for it.

The problem is the Donald tries to lead with fear, intimidation & threats. That's not going to work.

So far there is way too much chaos. You can't just take over Gaza. You can't tell Ukraine you want 50% of their rare earth elements for repayment for our war support. You can't fire hundreds of thousands of federal employees without a plan to maintain/improve services & overall operations. He will personally be responsible for the rise in unemployment & screw with families all over the country. You can't continue to insult our allies. Tariffs don't work for the American consumer but this fucker thinks he knows everything about everything.

The Congress is afraid to question any idea because they will get primaried & will have to got back to work in the real world. Frankly, most in Congress are financially secure & were successful prior to becoming a politician. Now they are a bunch of gutless examples of the Peter Principle.
