DOGE list of savings is full of errors .  Analysis by Washington post and Politico found that potential savings from cuts to federal contracts are far less than DOGE estimates by billions of dollars.  Many cancelled contracts were already paid and offer no actual savings.  Or contracts that have not yet been awarded.  Or same contracts repeated multiple times. Or savings that don't align with accounting records.

I can believe this thirdperson.... in an effort to reach 1trillion$ in savings they are probably grabbing what isn't nail down and claiming it as a DOGE savings...

Musk thinks he own the country and can now have workers getting down on their knees and suck him off.  This dirtbags ego is worse then trumps (and i never thought that could be possible )  If musk is musk is gonna run every dept, then every single dept boss needs to be let go.  Why are we paying these dept heads if they are not doing their jobs, that trump gave them the jobs.  All these new dept heads that just got confirmed are the ones who should be putting their own teams together to find waste and fraud in their depts, NOT 1 PIECE OF CRAP ILLEGAL SOUTH AFRICAN IMMIGRANT DOING IT.  Look i just saved taxpayers huge dollars, by cutting all the people heading all our agencies since we dont need them anymore.  Musk is running all the agencies now.  Trump had better wake up and distance himself from this guy before even his supporters turn on him.  Musk is way worse then trump, never thought anyone could be, but musk is.

In fact Kash Patel pushed back against Musk... sending out correspondence to all departments he is in charge of, ordering them to "pause any responses" being formulated to billionaire Elon Musk's email in which he asked federal employees to justify their jobs or be resigned.

What I don't agree with is you continuing to use the words "ILLEGAL SOUTH AFRICAN IMMIGRANT "to stir up people ...However since Elon Musk has been a U.S.citizen for the past 23 years it doesn't hold water.. There is no credible evidence that he was ever fully "illegal" during his more than three decades in the U.S. If you can challenge this statement ..lets see what you got ..or drop your silly slam on the man..If you do have evidence it would not apply to Muck at this time..

Their going get rid of all these tax scams and cut waste fraud and abuse...in SS and Medicare  we have billions annually paid to individuals with no Social Security number.,

Looking to the bright side..President Donald Trump said he plans to fulfill his campaign promise to eliminate income taxes on Social Security benefit income.

As far as not needing SS and Medicare,because I'am a wealthy Mega person...I wont discuss my financial status on a open website ..nevertheless I will say I never included SS or Medicare in my retirement planning from day one..

 Why does he have to answer in the way you dictate? The thread is not titled how much will DOGE save, he is fully on point discussing the person in the driver seat and the hypocrisy of him being in any government role. I do not see anything out of order from people posting here and he is not off topic.

Here is an observation, this DOGE is not about efficiency and cost savings it is about low hanging partisan fruit...Musk is an ultra conservative who is hunting down low to mid pay government employees and putting decent responsible people out of work. That is not how you save the taxpayers money and if the goal was to reduce outlays and save money then go after the big targets not the stupid partisan low value junk he seems to thrive on wrecking. Cut out his carbon credits and EV freebies and solar freebies, there I just saved more than DOGE would axing thousands of average American government jobs. If the goal is to reduce the deficit and be fiscally responsible it is unfortunate but SS and Medicare would need to be on the table, yet since this is about partisan candy and wrecking faceless government jobs then we cannot truly see real cost savings that have real impacts.

You dehumanize and minimize government workers as liberal fluff, I actually think that the majority of workers in any industry are hard working decent people where you keep minimizing and dehumanizing faceless government employees and categorizing them but in the process you are 100% validating my thesis that Musk is playing partisan retribution and that is brutal and abusive. Being a government employee does not make you liberal and does not mean you can bark at them and threaten them with being fired if they do not immediately follow his dictatorial condescending crap.

Musk email demanding that millions of federal workers justify their job is illegal and insulting. Defense, intelligence, FBI, state and justice departments advise workers to mot respond to his email.  Apparently. DOGE goal is not efficiency but to dismantle democracy by traumatizing workers.
