sarasota..did you actually read my first post.please show me where in there i bash your country.i mearly stated a fact..not opinion.

the response from paulsy was the one with personal attacks,well excuse me for responding to a uneducated welfare recipient loser who has no understanding about what is going on outside his little block of the planet.

if thats what you call bashing your country,giving you facts which can be reserched,if you were willing to find out the truth..so be it.

why would you start a political thread and not expect opinions different than yours....does that sound like FREEDOM to you.

SARASOTA...you are missing my whole point.my point was not to question the loyalty of americans..this i see and know is strong.i will repeat it again..i dont dislike the american people..far from it.but unlike you i can say that if my government willingly and knowingly put my and other citizens lifes at risk for profit,i would not protect him.i have too much self respect to do that..i was kind of hoping you would as well.
do you think i was not hurt when my american friends were actually afraid to reveal that they were americans..i really,really felt like shit.i could not believe that people would actually be ashamed of their counrty..and for the record,they voted for BUSH.
they also went on to tell me that someone spit on them in a cafe in geneva when they said they were american....nice picture isnt it.
remember,before you can fix the problem,you must admid that there is a problem.

Just because I no longer live in the country it does not make me any less of an American or less of a patriot then you. A true patriot would find faults in his country and do something about it. One way of doing this is to vote for the best man (or woman). Not because of party allegiance, but because they will make the country a better place. Blind faith by many on this forum is exactly what is wrong in America today. Too many heads up asses
