Gonzalez said he heard a shot directly behind him and when he turned around, he saw that Simpson had a gunshot wound to the upper torso and Simpson's shotgun was laying beside him, said deputies.

Well if they are on any kind of prescription drugs, take out some life insurance on them !.... Side effects can/do cause hallucinations, depression, paranoia,  and a host of other mental problems. 

 Heck, what am I talking about, if you buy guns you have a mental problem anyway  !!

DonJuan is probably referring to the man who committed suicide at the shooting range in Lakewood, in April, who was a former NJ Department of Corrections Officer,..The man, whose name has not yet been released, was on Workers Compensation since September, 2012.

Sounds like he was despondent over the dismal jobs market ..due to Pres.Obama prioritizing Obamacare over jobs.. .

A workers' compensation policy in New Jersey only pays 70 % of the workers' ordinary wage..,he was probably struggling to make ends met and might have felt, that after his WC ran out he wouldn't be able to preform his corrections officer duty's anymore.

The thought of looking for a new job in a jobless Obama economy was to much for him to take .. 

No, I don't just a plausible theory..like he could have been under stress because of the loss in wages and thought of looking for a new job. While distraught over a female Muslim corrections officer in New Jersey -the State were he worked- who reached a settlement in a federal lawsuit brought on by Obama's DOJ last year over her right to wear a Muslim head scarf at work...and he had to be trained regarding religious discrimination..

Hate to shoot your "plausable theory" in the azz slim but 70% of gross pay is about equal to takehome pay. And WC doesn't run out like UC benefits.

In NJ were the deseased is from... disability benefit payments for temporary total disability (TTD) in an amount determined by a percentage of the worker's wage, subject to weekly maximum and minimum payment amounts.... Payments may continue for up to 400 weeks.

You can collect TTD WC benefits in NJ till you reach MMI ( max. med. involvement) status..

Do you have a link as to the deceased being on TDD? And do you have a link to the NJ comp law section that pertains to his situation? I'd like to read it. TIA

That's a short summary of the comp laws in NJ. But according to that link if he was totally disabled he could be entitled to benefits for life:Payments are made for permanent total disability (PTD) based upon a percentage of the worker's wage, subject to weekly minimum and maximum payment amounts. Payments for PTD continue for the duration of the disability, or in some cases for life.

Overtime is figured in.

Another person ?  Who was the other ones ? He doesn't say ..

A person was killed ..how was he killed exactly ? We don't know.. the link he posted doesn't say ..it's under investiogation ..no ballistics yet..

..and then the title say's says " keep buying guns " as to say if you buy a gun you will in fact kill someone..

..and his only defense to the thread is "if you buy guns you have a mental problem"..

In stead of deflecting the thread to a debate on WC the real Q's should be directed to ..the lack of facts and accumptions by Senior DonJuan..
