What he is extremely UNLIKELY to do is end his 90 day pause in early July and allow the enforcement of his new tariffs - while then leaving them in place at least through the Christmas season. WON'T HAPPEN. He does that and it is a BLUE WAVE in the midterms!
Instead, aides will convince him to take an escape route at some point before September, declare THAT to be total victory - and falsely blame Joe Biden/all Democrats for everything.
