To all those who think they are UNLUCKY or OLP is rigged... please please read..

Question

First and foremost I have played a ton of poker and have seen just about any bad beat you can think of... I am not complaining and I do not think OLP is RIGGED. In fact the hadsn I speak of are learning opportunities for myself. I will tell you about a 2 day period.

I was playing in LAS VEGAS I was playing a tournament at Caesars palace their noon tournament that is 5k guarantee'd. Nothing big but definitely not bad pay day. Probably 4 table left and I'm chip Leader by a good amount, I am on the button with KK and raise big blind reraises with AA. No big deal right, Flash forward 3 hands later... KK again, SWEET and I still have enough chips to play I'm in great shape. SAME DAMN LADY HAS AA AGAIN. Get out of here?? I even thought no way she can have aces again is there, sure she can and she did...

The very next day I'm playing a no limit game I have about 500 in front most of us have about the same, I have JJ and I raise preflop get called and the flop is 6J6.... DING DING DING highfive, oops, wait not when your opponent flops quads?? Ok bad beat, that sucked moving on, about 2 hours later I have 88 the button raises and again the flop comes KK8... DING DING DING highfive, oops, not when your opponent has quds... WTF... In a span of seriously 2 hours, I flopped a set boat and lost to a guy who flopped quads, This happened 1 day after the same lady had AA twice against my KK in the same tourney...

I AM NOT COMPLAINING, I AM SIMPLY SAY even in LIVE play bad beats happen. DEAL WITH IT, or DONT PLAY on the sites, bitching and whinning isn't necessary. Not too mention most of the people complaining COMPLETELY MISPLAYED their hands....

Not too mention most of the people complaining COMPLETELY MISPLAYED their hands....&#xD;&#xA;[/Quote]&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I know the ropes same as you...Had a 3 month stretch a few years ago where I got sucked out on unbelievable turn and river cards hitting my opponent hard every time I played and knocking me out of that particular tourney.. &#xD;&#xA;The bad streak finally ended and like you infer,....Whatever way the cards come is how you will finish....You always wind up in the dreaded all-in situation multiple times sooner or later...Sometimes ahead...sometimes behind..Your cards hit or hold up...you win...Opponent hits...you lose...Thaaaaat&#x27;s poker.

All my bad beats happend to me in regular live games at a reputable casino...I stay away from internet poker as I feel it is not 100% legit....Just my opinion as I used to play lots of internet poker and ultimitely found it boring and dishonest .

Could be, but most of my beats also have been live games, olp has been quite profitable for me....but to each his own.  no need to play online then girl and complain it&#x27;s not legit u know...

No complaining...If I need a game and some action I head to the live poker games going on... Indeed the rake and dealer tips are a much greater overall cost but it's just a better exciting experience...live game..vs. internet game....NO contest ..live is better.

Been playing online for a long behind time. Waiting for all the sites to be legit again. Turned to sports betting (help me feck) after I couldn't play as freely as I use to online.

Seen all that garbage. Seen the donks clean up at the table when they were misplaying every hand as bad as possible, literally just getting hit in the face with the deck. My longest break even stretch was over 6 months..... longest downswing was over 3 months on a 60 buy in down swing.

slowed down recovered studied did my homework and crushed again. I came back hard. A lotta players always blame the luck part of the game. They never notice that when they get unlucky the snowball starts rolling and the leaks in their game start to get bigger and bigger. Most players tilt and develop bad habits furthering their losses which they blame on "bad luck". At that point it aint the luck its you just gotta curb your EGO and realize that.

I&#39;ll be the first to admit I am not a good poker player and I don&#39;t believe there is cheating going on in casino poker. I do believe in math and variance. However, it has already been proven that there was cheating going on with online poker. Also, the motivations would be quite different for casino pro&#39;s, who have a postive EV and want the games on the up and up to keep players coming in, and someone proficient with computers who might not be that good at poker. I&#39;m not saying that online poker is completely rigged because for every bad beat, someone else is winning money. However, to completely dismiss any and all cheating in online poker seems incorrect to me since it has happened before. That&#39;s like saying college basketball isn&#39;t rigged either. It has been proven to be rigged in the past and that&#39;s only the instances where people found out. Hopefullty the current online sites are better at running a clean game but I wouldn&#39;t completely dismiss the possibility of someone cheating on these sites.

So have you learned your lesson when you end up with KK again.
You should have been able to tell you were behind with the AA lady if she knew what she was doing
The biggest problem with online poker and the bad beats everyone complains about are the donks that play there.
Move up to higher staked tables and this diminishes a bit (not alot) but still if you play with people that know how to play you will get fewer bad beats IMO.

big problem holdem is not real poker in my eyes and i been playing poker since i was lil kid.

Holdem or as we called it spit in the river is nothing more than a board game with 5 common cards and when aces full can lose to aces full in same hand you have to be a fool to belive this real poker as it was meant to be played.

Whenever some Jack off calls you with Q 3 off suit and you had hefty pre flop raises and winds up winning the river over AK suited with a pair of 3's cmon man really ???

thats why i will continue to play higher limit 7 card stud because thier isnt any 5th common card to beat me sure i may get outdrawn a few times by losing chasers pullinbg that gut shot stright card a 4 to make a straight over my starting 2 pair of AA 99 but more times than not i will win becuse i can get a read on these losers and what cards went down in beginning knowing they almsot no shot at pulling out a river because the cards they need are all gone.

Anything that has money involved can be rigged at times! Stock market,online poker,sports ! Horse racing I can go on and on.Good luck
