Poker Bad beat jackpot...almost

So here&#x27;s my story...Playing 3/6 limit hold em&#x27;. I fold 7-5 off suit pre flop Flop 2-2-7Turn - 7River - 7One player flips over pocket 2s. I mucked my hand pre-flop AND the bad beat jackpot. 2222 vs 7777 I can&#x27;t remember if there was a pre flop raise. I got hassled by the dealer the most, and a few of the players kept bringing it up in good fun. But i can&#x27;t get over it, and wish I had just played the hand. But also know I shouldn&#x27;t beat myself up over it. Trying to believe that there are plenty of bad beats that get mucked over the course of the day, and just never pan out. Jackpot was 12k, so I would have taken about 3k.

most rooms I&#x27;ve seen require two naturals if it&#x27;s 4 of a kind over 4 of a kind.  Guessing that isn&#x27;t the case for yours?  folding that in 3/6 limit is a little light IMO but not egregious - better luck next time OP
