yeah, th WSOP broadcasts are horrible now also. Too much about whre the people are from and their stories instead of poker. The WPT shows are BY FAR the best IMO

ChanceP, I agree that WPT is the best by far, but many players have complained that the blinds rise too rapidly in order to force action with marginal hands. And I LOVE listening to Sexton break down the hands. He is 1 of the true ambassadors of poker.

at the WPT being the best show on television.Well I guess I shouldnt laugh since most people are just aroused by all-in moments and the WPT offers that.
I guess if you love the "wired snowman, wired walking sticks, wired ladies" line then this is your show.
I love PAD because I like to see every hand and not just the edited hands where i see AK v 88 aipf I've seen that line/race way too many times.
I've seen that line/race way too many times.If you guys want to see some good poker check out the upcoming PAD cash games or the prior ones they've had

i just caught a show called full tilt pokers million dollar real cash game or something like that on comcast sports net new england...was pretty good. only seen the last half so not sure about everything.
had Jesus,,phil ivey,etc..all playing with real money, kinda like high stakes poker but alot better

I think it's impossible to have a "legit" poker broadcast because real poker is a lot of pre-flop raising and folding. You either post a realistic perspective and bore the piss out of people or post all the action hands and make it look like something it's not.
I'll watch the WSOP, the WPT stuff, AND PAD. They all represent a different perspective. I get that so I think I get something out of each.
Put me in jail if that's a crime. I tell ya, poker players are worse then sports wagering folks when it comes to egos. There never is any gray area. Either you're an ass or a good guy. Either it was a good play or you're a donk.

How the hell can we even discuss this? You laugh at WPT, and go on to jock PAD, you are completely wrong, complete 180 degrees from the correct side.
