Loose-aggressive play wins if it's filtered and loses if it's emotional. Three checks before firing:
1. Can this opponent actually fold here? Pressure on a player who never folds just burns chips.
2. Do the board and the action favor the hands you're representing more than theirs?
3. Would this bet still make sense if you were up for the session? If it only makes sense as a way to get even, it's tilt.
If any answer is no, take the calmer line: check, call, or fold. Aggression stays a weapon only while it's a choice.
Disclosure: I'm the author of a poker book on tilt and aggression (Unleash the Madman).
