It's good to know that the power hasn't gone to your head.
As for all of you other MODS, GameHunter has served his time in the box and should not have to state his case.....I don't see all of these other people in the box stating their case to get out or for that matter being box'ed for over a month

He has not served his time in the box, posters are required to continue posting in here in order to get out. He doesn't want to get out, what part of that is everybody having a hard time understanding?

How did I miss this thread.
I am going to add my opinion here because everyone else seems to be doing the same. I remember when Gamehunter first joined Covers and honestly I thought he was very informative and had good insight on games. I thought like most of you that he played too many games but the same thing has been said about me and I tend to make a profit. I wasn't around for bases last year so I have no idea about what went down with toutgate but seriously the whole situation has gotten out of hand.
My advice to you Gamehunter is to post your picks in the box for the rest of the month and just ignore the people that you have no interest in while doing so. You say that you like to give feedback so when a legit question is asked just answer it. When you feel like it is someone stalking you or just there to bash just ignore it. If people continue to spam your thread I'm sure the appropriate actions will be taken.
Once again I don't know all the facts but I did share insight with Gamehunter on many occasions during basketball season when he first joined and never had a problem with him. I say just let the guy post his picks and leave him alone.
By the way Gamehunter in case you don't remember my screename it's because when they combined the sites they used my wagerline name of weezy instead of my covers name of sacjosh.

After reading this whole thread, I want to respond to only the times "vanzack" was mentioned about last summer and set some things straight.
The reason I didnt do the bet is simple: First and foremost I didnt trust GH, I thought (and still think) he is as slimy as they come, and it was obvious over the course of 2 weeks of what should have been simple negotiations that he deliberately being obtuse about the setup.
Add to that several nasty emails (not from GH himself) threatening me and my family, with one of those being particularly disturbing, and it was a definite no go for me.
My intentions were for the bet to be fun, and a spectacle. It turned ugly, and that is not my scene. Vanzack the character and me the person are two different things - and I am never willing to risk anything personal for this stupid vanzack shit.
Besides, I just dont like the guy. I thought it would be like a buddy bet at a bar, but it just spiraled out of control. Those who thought or think I am afraid to bet 5k (or 10K, cant remember which it was) just dont know me, but no big deal.
Support your local animal shelter. I am on twitter.

I was sacjosh in my pre-merger life lol. I'm just giving my point of view on this whole thing because like I said in the past I haven't had a problem with Gamehunter. I realize that some shady stuff has happened in this past with this guy and yes he does like the attention a little too much but honestly can anyone here say that his write ups didn't help u at some point in time. I know he saved me lots of research time by posting stuff that I planned to look up.
He may have lost units in every sport or he may not have but unless someone was dumb enough to tail all of his plays for the same amount of units then it really doesn't matter. I think he has value in his insight and his writeups are usually informative whether or not they are always right.
I say that everyone takes the high road here and lets the guy post freely in the pbox until he can post in the main forums. I know that most of you disagree with me and that's fine but everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I simply can't understand why he is boxed, it's funny too that people call him ToutHunter while he is here asking to be unboxed to post picks again in main forums for everyone..I think that if he was a tout this would be the perfect time for him to tell people that he offers a season package for MLB (but I privately emailed him and HE DIDN'T DO IT)..If he was a tout maybe he wouldn't post again this year his MLB picks because he could start badly and lose his credit..

Hey King Scorpio I think guys like this are one of the main reasons why Gamehunter is so hated. Obviously the fact that he claims to have tailed all his plays is moronic at best.
On a serious note just from a handicapping perspective, and I'm not talking just wins or losses and units won, do you think that is a detriment to have someone such as Gamehunter give his views and insights on games. I never directly tail anyone but if the write up is good and facts are given that help me make a decision then isn't that the point of this site.
I realize that the touting, attention seeking, and constant dick measuring contests have gone over the top but who the fuck cares if this guy does his research and posts some information that just might help someone win a bet. If he wins lets him gloat and think he is the best, does it really matter. If he loses then let all the newbs go in there and bash after they lose their lunch money. I think the fact that he is getting all this attention from people calling him an attention person is somewhat ironic.
If you don't give a shit whether he wins or loses just leave him alone
