represented the most striking assessment yet of a cascading threat to federal, state and local networks.

"CISA has determined that this threat poses a grave risk to the federal government
and state, local, tribal, and territorial governments as well as critical infrastructure
entities and other private sector organizations," the bulletin stated.

Notably, the trump admin is doing NOTHING about it...

REPUBLICANS are still trying to convince Trump not to veto the popular
National Defense Authorization Act, which has become law for 59 consecutive years.

NOTE:
trump is whining about two issues:
the bill includes renaming bases that were previously named after Confederate
traitors who actually faught AGAINST the US.....trump wants the flag and names
of the failed Confederacy to prevail...
and
that the bill does NOT include a resolution to repeal Section 230, which affords
immunity for private companies like Facebook, Twitter, Google from being sued
simply because they attach a WARNING of misinformation to trump's LIES.

Clearly, new leadership is needed.  Biden says cybersecurity would be a top priority for his administration.  However Trump betrays US national security by failing basic duty to fight coronavirus and Russian attacks.  Odd that Trump is fighting for a job that he is neglecting now.

That's a fact not just in regard to California, but to any/every state.

National defense authorization act has been renewed every year since 1961 because it is absolutely vital for US national security.  So Trump's veto is reckless and senseless.  Especially after Russian cyber attack.  Obviously, he doesn't care about US troops and their families.  His veto sets up probable override vote by congress next week.  Previously, senate approves defense bill 84-13 and house 335-78.  Both chambers have over 66% majority necessary.
