Fox news poll reveals 55% of respondents say US is worse now than in 2016.  Also 42% of respondents say history would judge Trump as one of the worst presidents in US history.

that his disgust and disappointment with President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn
the results of the election have led him to request that the Clerk of the House change
his party affiliation to "independent"
"The GOP party has to stand up for democracy and our Constitution first,
and not political considerations," Mitchell said.
"Not to protect a candidate. Not simply for raw political power,
but that's what I feel is going on and I've had enough."
