14 black head coaches coaches were hired last 10 years. 53 white. That is over 20%. Blacks are 13% of the population yet they claim it is never enough. They say it is disproportionately not black enough even though it is higher than the population. Not that i think you should look at things in that way but they do that to ensure at least that. They are always fine with too many in their favor If it is advantageous there is never enough. They never have an issue with disproportionately black player league.In that case "they deserve it" lol.
Whatever they have to say to get more of them that is what they do. And it involves any scenario. Never too many. Always too little

your mistake is comparing the population of the US with the NFL. perhaps if you compared coaches to the NFL population at large it would help you understand.
53% of the NFL players are Black but, until recent years, there were almost 0 Black head coaches because the primarily White ownership wouldnt hire them.
they wouldnt even *consider* hiring them. same goes for assistant coaches.
so then yes, there is a disproportionate number.
and now when a qualified non-white male coach is hired, people use racist terms like "DEI hire" because it hurts their minds to see non-white men rise up the ranks to major positions. white men have been given every advantage for decades in every aspect of society, and when that turns even the slightest bit, some cry and moan because of it. it's just soft behavior.
it was the same for NFL QBs for many many years too. we still see threads like "white coach/qb vs black coach/qb...i'll take the whites" here at covers (just yesterday wrt Chargers/Texans).
just a lot of small minded people out there unfortunately. will probably never change

Well you need to take a tour in a large U.S. Postal facility 60% black I have been told I have white privilege in life but still trying to figure out what it is? I just wish (not happening) we all just be Americans and not worry about skin color and may the BEST qualified person be hired

Well Jeff your opinion, which doesn't make us 'Narrow Minded" as you suggest.I was successful in life because of dedication and hard work not because of my skin color and I was passed up several times by a "minority" even though I was better qualified but I didn't bitch it made me work harder if that is "White Privilege" then I guess I found it
Why would you compare the coaches to the NFL player population? 2 Different jobs. You wanna compare them to the High school through NFL players population which isn't over 20% black then maybe. But you ignore disproportionate players because it is advantageous.
White men haven't been given every advantage. They created the advantage by creating most of the success of the country so of course they were in those positions. Soft behavior is something is disproportionate so lets force in such and such minority. But when we have the advantage we just deserve it. Whites cannot be better than anyone at anything or else they are demonized.
Very odd every so called minority group demands to have to come to America or Europe for a better life then they are dumbfounded on how white people can possibly be successful at anything at a higher rate. Must be racism. lol If that makes sense to you then you must have a sub 70 IQ
