This is a very common tactic they all do.
The other one I do not like is 'prefacing' every single question with a 5 minute set-up statement.
I would ask them to repeat the question, just to see if they repeat the whole thing again instead of simply asking the question.
Yo that’s wack as fuck . I was like confirmed in the 6th grade . Why’d this guy wait so long ? If he can’t make a commitment then I’m saying he’s hard to trust . no matter how many pinkie push-ups he does or protein drinks he drinks . You feel me ?
It’s hard for me to stand up in a nice suit and give an ovation at some fancy award’s show when there’s a guy probably two blocks down the street from the venue that had to wrestle his dinner away from a squirrel at some toppled over garbage can cuz he’s homeless and hungry . I don't know about this review of his performance that you guys are crowing about. This is what I saw...
...RFK had a difficult time in his two Senate confirmation hearings, with many of his past statements about medicine and science coming back to haunt him. He repeatedly denied saying the things he said in the past on video and in articles. Sen. Raphael Warnock: “You have compared the CDC's work to Nazi death camps. You've compared it to sexual abusers in the Catholic church.” RFK JR: “I never said that.” Warnock: “I have a transcript!”
… Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO): “Did you say that Lyme disease is highly likely a materially engineered bioweapon? RFK JR: I probably did say that. BENNET: I want all of our colleagues to hear, Mr. Kennedy. I want them to hear it. You said yes. Did you say that exposure to pesticides causes children to become transgender? RFK Jr: No, I never said that. BENNETT: Okay. I have the record that I'll give to the chairman.”
… He said it. On video. We have it.
… Bennet: Did you say that Covid 19 was a genetically engineered bio weapon that targets Black and White people, but spared person and Chinese people? RFK JR: “I just quoted a published study."
And then Tommy Tuberville tried to clean up the mess by saying in the hearing that he didn’t understand why meds were prescribed to kids anyway when all they need is a good whipping from time to time: “We have an attention deficit problem in this country. Attention deficit - when you or I were growing up, our parents didn’t use a drug, they used a belt and whipped our butt.”
Lastly, RFK boasted about putting baby chicks & mice in a blender to feed his hawks. Maybe that's why he didn't get the job at Jamba Juice.
I guess I just have a different opinion.

Tommy Tuberville being a senator is right out of a 80s/90s zany hijinks comedy. Revenge of the Nerds, Porky's, Animal House, Caddy Shack. If you don't think it's possible that we're living in a simulation, just remind yourself that Tommy Tuberville is a US senator.

I am on the fence with JFKjr. Obviously he has said some wierd shit and IMO, he has obviously hit home on several topics.
But really, if he is soooo bad why do the Dems need to constantly talk over and at him rather than just be professional and ask him questions??? They make it look like a railroad job and make themselves look bad.
RFK JR the type of cat that will walk outside at 6 AM and meet you on the front porch ready to go hunting wearing only a pair of blue jeans , while going shirt and shoeless , as he swigs down a nice cold can of beer and answers your question of “ Hey Bob where’s your rifle at ? “ with “ I’m only killing motherfuckers with this pencil that’s in my pocket , it’s the same one that I used to write down your sister’s number with . “ That’s the feeling I get about that guy .
