They’re not dead offensively, but they haven’t exactly been smashing the baseball either. Through the first five innings, they scored 2, 3 and 1 runs, leading once and sitting tied twice

 Buxton got exited after one at bat 4 days ago, and since then the Twinks have scored 4, 6, 2 and 7 in the F5 in those games. I definitely think this is a live play. Like you said the pitching advantage is huge. Twins still have some bats that can mash I think. 

Devil’s advocate here, because in the real world, gas is expensive. What if Joe Ryan is on some kind of limited pitch count with the All Star Game coming up? I don’t know if it’s a real factor, but with Minnesota already missing a couple of big bats, my Spidey senses are starting to kick in

Ryan Johnson has only started 4 games. In his last 3 1.80 era. Albeit a 4.04 fip, the Nerds are telling us he hasn't pitched all that well. But tell that to a 23 yr old kid who's probably feeling pretty fuckin good right now
