Sore Canadian Losers...

... funny how, prior to the Canada/US hockey game, the Canadian fans were ubiquitously present w/their claims of Canadian hockey superiority over the US and how the US can&#x27;t touch Canada, etc.  But now that the US beat them, I have BARELY heard anyone admitting that the US was the better team last night, that the US deserved that win, etc.  Seems that, as a whole, Canadians are very quick to point out how "anti-social" and "barbaric" people from the US are, but when they lose, Canadians can&#x27;t even take their whippings like a "man" and admit who was better.  Good stuff Canadians!

US played a great game no doubt, Miller also stole the show, put Thomas between the pipes in that game and the result would have been different no question. The US played a complete game, Canada started flat and never recovered. Russia, Sweden, US, Canada, even Slovakia all have a great chance at winning gold. US beat Canada in the preliminary round don&#x27;t forget that. If we meet again the result will be different. BOL

I agree that, if they play again, CHANCES are that it would be a different result.  US played much more physically, Miller was RIDICULOUS, and most of the Canadian stars were caught off guard by the US.  Regardless, it is great for hockey, esp here in the US.

I don&#x27;t understand these threads. What is it that you want people to do and say? The score speaks for itself. The US came out the winners. USA has a by to the quarters. They have a 3 out of 4 chance of winning a medal.Is that not enough for you, or would you like every Canadian to personally acknowledge that we were not the better team last night?

I will give full credit to the American hockey program, it is vastly improved, lots of good young American players becoming stars, Parise is one of the best young players in the NHL right now. I watched the world juniors this year and the Americans were by far the better team.

&#xD;&#xA;i think it is pretty clear that he is referring to the hordes of Canadians that refuse to give ANY credit to the US team....... such as people saying that Canada dominated the game and should have won by 5 goals......&#xD;&#xA;in fact, your response is, in itself, a different example of the kind of stuff he is talking about....... he isn&#x27;t asking for anyone to bow down...... he is asking for those who are still talking shit to pipe down......

I`am canadian and i hade usa moneyline...I knew canada was going to lose...Canada beat them selfs last night..Canada out played usa all night long.. The goaltending for canada was worst i seen in a while...But i was not shocked one bit...My play was base on one thing that canada was week in one area..GOALThe best thing that could happen was what happen to them last night..BIG wake up call...Thanks team USA

&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Funny how the Americans never thought any of their basketball &#x27;Dream Teams&#x27; would ever lose....I&#x27;m pretty sure they went through a &#x27;dry&#x27; spell...&#xD;&#xA;The fact remains.....Americans expect to win basketball gold, Canadians expect to win hockey gold, and Brazil expects to win the World Cup....however, reality is....other teams are getting better and competition is at a high level.
