    @wmi799

I agree with you. He is electric to watch and I actually enjoy watching the guy. And it may look like I am a hater, which I am not. This has more to do with the OP and his crowning of someone who has not shown up when it matters. Maybe this is the year he will. Maybe he will win a couple in a row. Time will tell.

You know exactly why I am going in circles with this special little OP.

But you just want to hang on to the “black qbs who play like black QBs can’t win”    What happened to Lamar choking today? I saw a great performance even without his best WR.

How about we throw out all the nonsense you're spewing and discuss the facts. I track and put a lot of weight into what the score is after the third quarter. It's amazing how leading after the 3rd quarter in the post-season is a recipe for success. I will post all eight teams and show their average score heading into the 4th quarter with their current QB in their playoff games. (I'm including Washington but Daniels has only played one post-season game thus far).

    Texans w/ Stroud: 22.6-12.3

    Chiefs w/ Mahomes: 20.77-16.7

    Commanders w/ Daniels: 13-17

    Lions w/ Goff: 21.6-20.3

    Rams w/ Stafford: 20.83-15.16

    Eagles w/ Hurts: 18.0-15.6

    Ravens w/ Jackson: 11.57-15.42

What makes those numbers of Jackson's worse is the fact that Baltimore was ranked in the top 3 in points allowed in five of his seven seasons. In other words, they had a super bowl type defense pretty much the entire time he's been a starter but the offense, led by Lamar Jackson, has failed to keep up their end in the playoffs.

The Colts, with Peyton Manning at the helm, had a middle of the road defense in his first seven playoff starts, ranking 17th, 15th, 31st, 7th, 20th and 19th in points allowed. The Ravens have been ranked 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 19th, 3rd, 1st (last year when all they had to do was win two home playoff games to get to the super bowl), and 9th this season. There was no pressure on Lamar to put up 30 points in any of his playoff games like there was with Manning, yet they've scored an average of 11.57 ppg through the first three quarters of his playoff games.

Feel free to try and dispute the facts.

Before last week's win over the Steelers the Ravens average points scored through the first three quarters of Jackson led playoff games was 8.83.

The reason I brought these stats up was because the clown who keeps starting these threads called me a racist shithead when I had an opposing viewpoint to his Lamar Jackson is the best of all-time rant. My disagreement is all fact and stat based, nothing more. And how come this clown is not trying to dispute my numbers? Because the numbers are right and he is so wrong.bigsmile

Here's more bad news for the president of the Lamar Jackson fan club. The Super Bowl winner has played on the road in the divisional round just 15 times s/'69 and the average points scored by those teams through the first three quarters is 18.33, a far cry from the average Baltimore scores in the post-season.

They had a chance but once again a Lamar led team comes up short in the playoffs.

You've found that teams winning after 3 quarters often win the game, and you find it amazing.  Wow. Real cutting edge research.  You should write a book.  confused

If you can't win with Derrick Henry as your RB.

Your NEVER gonna win a SB!

Yet another choke job in the playoffs.

His two TOs should never of happen.

Other things went wrong sure.  But you can't expect to win against a good opponent with MULITPLE TOs.

Home teams leading by 7 points or more going into the 4th quarter of a divisional playoff game are 115-2 SU s/'67. That is amazing when you consider the competition at this level of the playoffs.

And if you paid attention you would have noticed how close all 4 games were heading into the 4th quarter this year. KC led 13-12, Wash led 31-28, Philly led 16-15 and Buffalo led 21-19. That's a total of 7 points separating the four games which is the closest divisional round ever. The teams that make the fewest mistakes advanced.
