NFL is Fixed, Referee are fixing game

If you happened to watch the Giants/Chargers game last night, you can clearly see the Referee's were on the chargers side as they did their best job trying to make the Chargers win. With 3-4 minutes left in the game, giants had the ball on the goaline, 1st down and 6 of so. First play after that, a holding call, 10 yard penatly, becomes 1st and goal on the 17. Replay was never shown on tv, but PVR shows there was no HOLD! Nothing even close, it was a touch a release. Obvisouly giants are going to run the ball and waste more clock and eventually settle for 3 going up by 6... now chargers have the ball, they get a first down, but before the catch, a hold on the giants defense, look at replay!?! there is no HOLD! First down chargers... Remember the Steelers Chargers game where over 100 million was bet on the steelers? Where Troy Polamalu picked up a lateral and scored a TD to not let the chargers cover the spread...   Referee then said he was in a confused state, he screwed up, there were too many cooks, too much information, a sensory overload.

 

NFL is a joke, it has a bad history with fixing games in the 60's-70's-80's.....and now again when the economy is in a crisis.

i do agree that the steelers chargers game last year was rediculous...100 million on the steelers in that game? wow...was that 100 million at a specific casino in vegas? anyway, i didnt personally watch the Giants game yesterday, so i couldnt tell ya......there are some very shady calls in the NFL and in college...

I'm pretty new to this site, but these "fix was in" threads are getting rediculous. I'm a HUGE Giants fan, and I lost $$$ on the game. The Giants had the game won, all they had to do was play good defense for just over 2 more minutes. They didn't. They went into prevent mode and gave up chunks of yards. They stopped playing the D that put them in the position they were in. There will always be questionable calls, some of which will effect the outcome of a game. But to think the refs were in on some kind of "fix" in this game is absolutely rediculous. The Giants have gotten progressively worse since they're 5-0 start. You made the wrong play, as did I. Get over it

The eagles spot at midfield was a full yard WRONG- They clearly needed the DOGS to win as BOOKS were taking a beating--
