The whining by others on here is unreal, every number JDN put up was on BOL Sunday afternoon, the Wyoming game actually opened at 21.5 and went down to 20 before getting hammered, I don't have a BOL account but I like to see their early lines to gage what's going to be out there

i would, but it crosses a few key numbers...crossing 21, 24 and 27 is not good. i think this will be a beatdown, but i would hate to have wyo win 50-28 and have my wager win and yours lose. 

with that said, i think we will see 50-17 type of score.

I wish I could have gotten Wyoming at -20 but my book has it at -28 now and I played it at that. Wyoming is going to come out on a vengeance Saturday after a very close, hard fought loss. I feel sorry for Idaho. Wyoming -28 (2 Units)

These are a couple plays I made but I don't know if you're interested.

USA vs Tulane -6 (4 Units) -  I plan on fading USA every week. They have WKy next week. This game will be beyond brutal. Trust me, I live in Mobile, AL. Tulane looks very improved and USA lost to a sub-division team....

Western Kentucky +13.5 vs Tennesse  (2 Units) - I'm kind of iffy on this one but I think Petrino can expose any team when given the chance.

Tenative: Under 48.5 on Friday Nights WF vs BC game!

I really want to play Texas -7 and Miami +3 but I hope I can hold off the demons.

ill look at that tulane play. i know they are improved...but i am so very concerned that they only completed SEVEN passes vs. jackson state, and in addition, only avg'd 3.7 yards per rush. 

they were outgained by jackson state, putrid on 3rd down, couldnt throw the ball, couldnt run the ball, 

i clearly didnt watch the game vs. jackson state, but how much poorer could they have played on offense. OR, did they not have to have as much success b.c. jackson state committed 6 turnovers?

maybe the UNDER in the tulane game?


as far as the wake game, i have wake +4.5 and will roll with that...hope for a 20-17 final either way...


keep doin your thing buddy...tax those books.

Yeah if it somehow swung back down a bit I might lock it in, otherwise I learned a valuable lesson about betting before lines move (like many others here who aren't pulling bs out their behind just to troll, I have friggin eyes and saw it dancing between -20 and -21.5, but didn't sit down to put all my bets on til the night).. but I think the value left after it shot past those two key numbers...oh well...I'm locked and loaded on every other play. Let's get it, JD

I read a couple articles on Navy over fall camp.  I'm not sure the triple option is all you will see come game day.  Navy is going to take advantage of Reynolds arm, and by all accounts, will be playing out of the shotgun (passing formation) a bit more this year.  One could only guess, playing a high powered offense like IU, that in this game, their pass game could come more into play than other games.

betonline releases lines early and i need that for being able to take advantage of mistakes.

I also like the Wake play at BC.  BC is garbage with a new coach.   Wake is not great, but I like them straight up as a 4 point dog.

2nd week in a row playing on the road for idaho. lets look at the idaho performance vs UNT. 

Idaho only converted 5/14 3rd downs vs the mean green, but allowed 8/14 to UNT. Idaho allowed 594 total yards vs NT and 404 passing yards. NT QBs were 28/34 unreal. idaho is so bad on pass defense and wyomings pass offense is and should be much more explosive than UNT. 

UNT scored all 6 points on offense (no cheap scores) and ran 80 plays, but also turned the ball over 3 times. 

Idaho had two pass plays of 50 and 59 but other than that only mustered up 120 pass yds vs a UNT team that allowed 415 ypg last year, and 63% completion % and 3000 pass yds allowed ly. 

idaho avg. 3.9 ypc rushing but only mustered up 139, one of the rushes was 47, so if you factor that out, they had 35 carries for 92.
their qbs played actually pretty mediocrely, completing 68% with no picks. but they did lose three fumbles 

idaho is breaking in a new FG kicker that was 0/1 last week. they should not attempt to kick FG;s in wyoming. esp. if they are down early. 

their punter did avg. 47.3 on 6 punts. very efficient changing Field position. 

wyo caught UNT sleeping as they scored 1st, on a 4 play 75yd drive, and then recovered an onside kick. they were forced to punt, and never threatened again. 


wyo only was 1/8 on third down vs nebraska, but it was remarkable that they only had 8 3rd down opps. they ran 75 plays. they racked up 602 yds vs neb. (not a great D, but a B10 defense) and were very effective running, clipping 219 yds and avg. 7.3 ypc...unreal


brett smith threw for 383 and ran for 92. the dual threat should really give idaho threats. 

nebraska was supposed to work on pass offense and efficiency this year and it did not show vs. wyo. wyo only allowed 155 pass yds. and did a good job getting nebraska in third down situations, as nebraska had to attempt 17 different 3rd down plays. converted 9. 

wyo should have no problems this week vs a very inefficient idaho team. 

i expect wyo to score 45 points or higher this week. i doubt idaho scores more than 20. idaho should score a few times, but they might have to settle for FG's as i dont expect them to convert on 3rd down, or sustain any continuity on offense.

Week 2 is shaping up to be another good week.  You should be listening Peabody he has proclaimed himself as the worlds worst picker and claims that if you go the opposite as him you will come out a winner on the season.  He had a losing record first week.  Some of you guys win more then not as i can see on these threads as you post your record which is nice, but it's funny a guy proclaims to lose on a yearly basis which the majority of people do.

So why not follow this guy plus it's just funny and you can make money

JDN$: I'd say it was more b/c of the turnovers. Tulane played every single one of its 61 players in that game. Multiple rushers, multiple QB & WR. They have a decent team this year and I think they'll compete in the Sun Belt this year.
Also, bottom line, USA is horrible.

that's the very reason its not smart to not  middle the game. I cant believe you are not trying to middle this game if you indeed got -20. which I have no reason to think you didn't.

Wazzu was only +12.5 for me
