I'm on Charlotte today against Orlando. Here's what I have down so far:
Charlotte +10 -102 risking 4.85 units
Charlotte ML +550 risking 2 units
Charlotte ML +560 risking 1 unit
I'll probably double the size of that +10 wager. The last time the Bobcats played in Orlando, they caught the Magic off a game in Washington the night before and pulled the upset as a +400 underdog. I actually had the moneyline on that one. Haven't had a nice straight up dog winner since!

I haven't yet cracked the code on that Mavs/Spurs game, but I'm with you on the underestimated Blazers. That +9.5 you got is nice. I have a small amount on +9 -110, but I'm holding off on adding more for now.

Yesterday I ripped myself in this thread, but today I gotta give myself a small pat on the back for how I handled this Thunder/Lakers game. Obviously the Thunder were a public dog, but I wasn't about to lay the points with the Lakers, a team I consider to be awful in spite of their talented roster. I wasn't surprised to see the Lakers come out strong today with one of their twice-a-month strong defensive efforts, but once I saw the game Thunder cut that 17-point deficit down to 8, I got interested in Oklahoma City. The I saw some joker in the NBA forum proclaiming the Lakers -1.5 as the best bet in hoops history. I needed no further nudging.
I love it when a game I can't figure out lands right on the number.

Because a three gets some people on their feet and a large amount of applause if it goes in...it's all about risk vs. return.
He risks very little effort in energy and play-running for a large return in ovation and potential highlight packages on ESPN if he gets hot.
If goes to show how much control coaches have over players with guaranteed contracts. There are no repercussions for his actions. Even a coach with the most rings in history, who most certainly is chastising Artest for his ill-advised shot selection, can't get through to him.
