Yes, I would, but if I do, the 2010 Smeltics will come out and play like the 2008 Celtics.  There's nothing I can do about that.

the teams the Celts struggle with are the teams with a good point guard....look no farther than Duane Wade. Miami might suck but last year both Derrick Rose and Ben Gordon abused the Celtics. Rondo suffering the flu along with the rest of the team, I'm taking my chances on the Heat +175 for the series.
The Celtics just aren't the Celtics of 2 years ago. Ray Allen will most likely guard Wade and has been abysmal in the playoffs, and I mean horrible. Perk will get into foul trouble. The wildcard will be Tony Allen because he can guard and will play Wade tough. The Celts also have issues with Beasley and don't be surprised to see him have a better than normal series. Umbuto is dead....died 2 years ago.

Hawks cover.  And, the Hawks SUCK.  How disgusting that was to watch my 8.5-point favorite play "kill the clock" for almost the entire second half!

Way to get lazy and give the Bucks oodles of confidence from here on out.  Go Bucks!

I don't.  I feel lucky to be 1-1 today.  I'm going to take my current breakeven situation and savor it.

My plan up until this morning was to split my bet on the Hawks between the first half and the game.  But then I got nervous that with my horrible luck, the Hawks would fail to cover the first half and then go on to blow the Bucks out.  So instead they blew the Bucks out in the first half and then tried their best to get hugely backdoored.  Meanwhile, I watched the whole thing unfold while I braced for another disgusting loss.  Even in victory I feel like I screwed up again.

By the way, today was the start of Atlanta's fourth playoff series in the last three years.  They have now easily covered the first half line in their first home game of each series.  It's something to keep in mind should they advance to play Orlando or Charlotte.

You should have know though Mr Bator... look at those quality opponents.

Honestly - the toughest team they played (not based on ratings but motivation) was the Nets - and the Nets won that game because... well you know the whole Del Negro - Paxton situation.

I was on the Bulls today too - but don't quite understand why you put these games into consideration... all those teams suck on a pretty consistent basis.  And Charlotte doesn't count because that was the last game of the year.

I always appreciate you point of view - but I'm just pointing out one of the reasons your bet got burned is you were looking too much into the recent play of the Bulls.  I didn't think it was going to be a double-digit game honestly.  I thought it was going to be close throughout, that's why I took the +11.

Either way.  Good Luck the rest of the playoffs

Hope you get outta the box soon!

Bucks would have won this series if Lord Andrew Bogut didn't snap his body in half a few weeks ago

I understand the Bulls weren't up against quality competition in those six games I listed, but look what they did to those teams.  They outscored them by an average of 10 points per half.  And today they were getting 6.5 points.  I thought that was more than enough room for error.  I was wrong.  The Cavs put them (and me) in their place.

I changed my mind, Mcmanus.  I'm getting involved in the Jazz/Nuggets game after all.  I'm on Utah +6.5 -110 and +5.5 +105.  I'm looking for some moneyline action right now.

The Cavs put both of us in our place today Mr Bator.  I was on em too - just for different reasons.  I have noticed they have been opening up their games recently strong.  I guess the strong opening streak had to end at some point.

Good Luck the rest of the weekend bud!

You got any ideas on the Over/Under for the late game Mr Bator?  I'm about to go over to the Palms to put my bet in shortly.
