what exactly did he teach these kids pucku, since your a fuckin expert on joe pa pas teaching. The guy is a football coach who earned alot of money for winning games and thats it. He hasnt done anything for society, except protect his child rapist buddy. And who gives a shit how much money he gave to penn st, thats a private university, big fuckin deal. Probably gave the money back because he felt ashamed making so much for coaching a stupid game
Wrong dickhead. It is in the Commonwealth of Universities.
You may think you are cute being such a punk, saying outrageous things just to get attention. But you are just making a big fool of yourself. You saying all of absolutes like he did nothing, was nothing etc are just pure ignorance. You and everyone you care about, (I'll bet that's a very short list) are the ones who should look over their shoulders..because you are about to get a huge ass kicking from Mr. Karma.

joe pa a man with a huge VOICE had the ability to SPEAK up, LOUDER than he did. He SWEPT it under the rug until the rug was pulled out from under him. Then and only then did he show remorse.
It was all about the 409 wins.
RIP
I think his guilty conscience may have played a part in his rapid deterioration.
No, it was lung cancer dumb ass. How could he notify anyone when he didn't know in 1998 what was going on?? Now you are saying you know for a fact that he knew in 1998??? How do you know this?? And if you did how come you didn't tell anyone?? Once again you are going to have to deal with what you have said and done...I wish i were there to see it.

Not a hero, take the blindfold off.

Are you saying you know for a fact that he didn't know anything?

The burden of proof is on the person saying it was fact. Paterno said numerous times that he didn't know anything until the shower incident. The authorities have also said he wasn't notified of any investigation. Even Sandusky said Joe Pa didn't know..

These aren't my peers here...this is a virtual jailhouse. It's takes more guts to be on the right side than it does to be on the wrong side. And since JoePa was vilified here I have been his biggest supporter. Against a bunch of dimwits, who have little or no education, empathy or common sense.
At no point in any of the hundreds of threads have I condoned any form of child abuse. Yet the fuckwads continue to say it. Real men do not act like little kids, writing bad words on a bathroom wall.
We are dealing in facts. The facts are JoePa wasn't a criminal. The police and the mother had a chance to stop it 4-5 years before Paterno found out about it.
You and the other mongoloids are trying to crucify a guy who had nothing to do with 90% of the abuse that was done before he knew what was going on. Yes he made a mistake. But that doesn't justify the amount of crap you and the other dickheads are dishing out.
Why would i go in hiding?? Once again everything you say is bullshit. I've never defended Sandusky. I hope he goes to jail when he is convicted, if he is convicted. Until then he is an innocent man. You and your family would also want the full power of the constitution.
But you see the fools who have never been past 8th grade, haven't accomplished anything in their lives and are more than likely meth addicts have decided to be the judge and jury. What is this?? 1777?? They are disgusting human beings who will pay for their remarks one way or another. That is what happens in life. One day you are saying bad things about the dead, the next day, or months, you join them. I have seen it time and time again. Most of these fucktards wouldn't know a legal brief if it bit them in the ass..they have zero concept of empathy or the law. Fuck em..

I said he is not a hero or a legend. I hope his soul rests in peace.
He had a chance to come clean. That's what legends are made of.
Go listen to your Michael Jackson and R. kelley mix tapes and jack off to the 1994 penn state coaching staff poster you have on your wall.
Do you also believe it was random that it all came to light after he broke the record?
Most everyone knew about the accusations. A grand jury is sealed as are all comments from people who testified. It was just the timing of the indictment...all just a coincidence.

Some people are just a holes. had a friend who is a Giant fan diss me saying RIP Joe PA and I reminded him his most famous linebacker fucked an underage girl for money against her will. Sandusky is the real perp and who deserves the venom for using his friendship for his own dasterdly deeds. I thought he ought to go, but I surely do not cheer his death. Go take a look at that moral compass you so quickly use.

This thread is an absolute atrocity and if this site had any decency, it really should be killed by the mods. If you want to debate the virtues of a man, there is a time and place for it, but not like this, and not in a thread announcing a man's passing. I think this thread is a huge black eye for this site. While a good majority of us are degenerates and gamblers, this thread is even embarrassing for this cross section of society
Joe Paterno, like all of us, was not immortal. He was not a god. He had faults. He may have been held on a pedestal by his admirers, but he was just a man. A man who made mistakes, like everyone of us. Was his a mistake a bad one, sure. But he was also put under a microscope because of who he was. History is littered with examples of too many people being guilty of inaction in a time when they should have done something more.
It is easy to make the argument that Joe Paterno was not a "great man" because of the mistake he made. But he was a good man for all the lives he touched through his life. I don't claim to know the man, but hearing of testimonials of people who did know him, that is enough to make me realize he was a good man, who did too little in a time when he should have done more.
In the unfortunate situation where a family member somehow would stumble into this thread, the posters in this thread do not speak for the country as a whole
RIP Joe Paterno

Good riddance to Joe Pa. If he had any shred of decency, instead of lobbying the students for his support, he would have stepped down immediately to show that he made a HUGE mistake.
At the end, Paterno just tried to hold on to his job, which was always his only concern. For all the great things he did for the university, he failed miserably when it mattered most. To just write this off a mistake is repulsive and degrading to the victims who have had their lives destroyed.
In the end, Paterno was just as sick as Sandusky for condoning his behavior. Now they need to castrate Sandusky, and have him immediately choke to death after his balls are shoved down his throat.
