pleasebrian, if you weren't such a lying sack I would feel sorry for you.  But really expect to see you back in a couple days with a new b.s. story.  Hopefully I'm wrong about that....

If I had won Michigan State yesterday I'd be even now . Instead I'm down $5,000+ . They scored no points in overtime against Wisconsin . It also never should've gone to overtime because they had the ball and the lead and had a turnover  when they should've been using the clock and getting fouled . I'm pretty sick of gambling too . I never win more than $2,000 , but I lose $5,000 relatively often . If I'm up big I'll lose most of it by Tuesday and if I'm down big I'll just keep losing . I can't figure it out . I lost $2,220 on two games yesterday by two baskets .

I guess the term "internet millionaire" is what Skin is, you come on the internet and claim to be a millionaire.  With all your money I would expect you to have a better education :i.e not know the difference between your and you're and the expression is you could NOT care less.

I am In the same boat I cannot get ahead in sports every week I start out in the hole. I once had 18 losing bets in a row unreal. I think some people are just born unlucky in gambling. I have a money management system where I just lose a little each week till my bankroll is gone for the year. then I start over with a fresh 5 dimes for the next sports season which is usually football. I am done for the season now. there are a lot of gamblers out there like me that are fade material. If you can find one they are a gold mine. there are several on this site. too bad one just retired yesterday

    LOL!

You have the audacity to criticize someone for not having "a better education" -- yet your writing is atrocious, to wit:

    1) "is, you" ~~ That's a run-on sentence. Never use commas to separate two sentences.

    2) "internet" ~~ The Internet should have a capital "I", as it is a proper noun.

    3) " ; i.e." ~~ Never us a semi-colon for "i.e."

    4) "; i.e." ~~ You used the wrong one -- it's "e.g." that you want to use for your examples of "your" and "you're". You don't know the difference between "i.e." and "e.g.", do you?

    5) " not know " ~~ The word, "not" negated your sentence of your pointing out that an education is KNOWING the difference between the two words, as opposed to NOT knowing.

    6) Whole-block text ~~ You wrote in one whole paragraph with no spaces between the lines -- something that far, far too many guys do here in Covers.

It's far better to break up paragraphs into one to three lines with open spaces in between the lines.

Whole-block text paragraphs are difficult to read, as you'd have to pretty much read it straight through without stopping -- and that can be hard to do when one is distracted by looking at scores, petting the kitty cat, taking a bite of food, ad infinitum.

Cant say I think he is right. Coming down on spelling, GRAMMAR, etc. is long since been a NOTHING on chat rooms.

That being said, I agree, still doesn't make it right... And an education does not always make one the smartest in the room. Maybe the best read, more class, better speaking, that is not the end all to everything, unless you are just that and look at those traits as Super Important. The next guy may have bad teeth, fat gut, no hair, and talk like he is a schmuck. Yet he can be a millionaire in todays world.

Look at TV now, shows like GIRLS on HBO... Some would have picked on all those people until they had a complex back in the 80s. Now if I mention something about their geekiness or over weight, I will be bashed as a hater....

Anyway, there is money to be made in gambling if you take your time and use management. When your in your 20s and even 30s, that is hard to do. I remember going on tilt...

I for one, by my writing and poor spelling can tell you that I did crappy in school, very bottom of high school class because I hated it. Hated college too and dropped out. Yet, did really well, at least in my book. I invest wisely too, go look at investment page... Follow me and make money.

    Oh, really?

    Care to elaborate?

But, hey, I'm all in favor of any sincere attempts by you to clean up your writing -- that's always a good thing to do.

    Pipe-Light~

Props to you for being smart and making it in life. Seriously.

I hated school, too -- both high school and college. I preferred sports and girls back then. Writing? Bah, humbug.

I wasn't until I got on the Internet in the late '90s that I finally got going with writing/editing with my transcript work that I did for a transcript team that I started, doing work for two websites.

    I'm a self-taught writer/editor, amongst other things, all of which I've been self-taught.

So, I, too, found success outside of and after school. I still hate school -- and that's because of the heavy-handed, state-oriented model of school with all the brainwashing that comes with it.

I prefer to be dynamic, probably like how you like things in life. Sports investing is highly dynamic and that is part of what attracts me to this endeavor.

I was not making references to the intelligence of "the1toturn2" -- I was pointing out the irony of his attacking the writing of another, while his own writing was atrocious.

I know that there are many, many people out there who are street-smart and write terribly, yet are wealthy.

There is one friend of mine locally who is a millionaire for real ... and he writes like shiat; however, he's very smart with money and business, having started and sold 4 companies by now.

I agree that RicoCortez nailed it.

    1toturn2~

If your post # 95 was referring to me -- thank you; if not, no problem.

I'd encourage you to write well not for me, but for you. Self-improvement is a great way to go, as that's worked great for me.

To this day I still hate school, but I would not mind going back to college once the BIG changes finally happens around the world with massive changes in the governmental/financial/social structures of the world -- changes that are now imminent.

I would bet there are hundreds of people out there that cap for a living.. I have some success lately doing a couple of things that I haven't in the past.. #1 better money management.. I don't chase like I did in the past.. I chase even when I am up so much.. bad habit.. Use unit system at its finest..
#2 follow a few good cappers.. my bets are 50% myself and 50% of good cappers I follow on twitter.. you choose the ones that are streaky..
they can have a 50% capping rate but you ride when they are hot...
