Nevertheless, it's still empirically evident that CONSEVATIVES have only one real choice for TV and spend the bulk of their "news watching time" on FOX -- because that is their only choice for conservative news.

Whereas for LIBERALS, they obviously have multiple choices.

Moderate ares somewhere in between but as the polls show they favor CNN the most AND choose a LIBERAL-bias cable news network by about 2 to 1 over CONSERVATIVE-bias cable news (by default only Fox)

Again, this is irrespective of whether or not the programming is good or bad. 

Conservative viewers have no choice for conservative-bias TV news but FOX,

therefore FOX will ALWAYS have more viewers just by default -- not good programming.

Fox 17 left out crucial context
The Fox 17 story was grossly misleading.

Fox 17 removed its story from its website.
" We want to clarify that we do not believe there was any cover-up,
and we apologize for the error and oversight in our reporting."

Tucker Carlson declared at the outset of his Thursday show that
the "COVID regime is political" and "our leaders are lying" about the
state of affairs. He said that there was now "conclusive proof" of this
before citing the Fox 17 story. Carlson argued that Fox 17 caught
top Nashville officials red-handed "hiding key health statistics and
for no justifiable reason." Carlson then read during the segment
the same out-of-context clips from the emails emails Fox 17 had printed.
It's as if Carlson didn't do basic research before going on air with his
conspiratorial monologue.
It should also be noted: While Carlson was arguably the most animated
Fox personality who pushed this narrative, a version of the Fox 17 story
appeared on several other Fox News programs...

We've seen this story before
Comments are taken out of context and weaponized by partisan outlets in an effort
to manufacture a scandal that simply isn't there. And by the time those who ran with
the story are called out for their mistakes, scores of people have already been misled.

Yeah, Ill watch the channel that told me question all the hoaxes these dopes fell for.   CNN and MSNBC lied to your faces when it came to Jussie Smollet, Bubba Wallace, Trump being a Russian agent, MAGA hat kids bully native American, Trump Virus, Melania missing cuz Donald beat her up, Donald Trump removing MLK bust from Oval Office and so many other fake news stories.  Fox is critical or Trump but also acknowledges his accomplishments.  Fox has people from both sides to argue points of view, libnews only has RINO's that parrot their talking points like Flake and Romney.  There is a reason FOX is #1 in the nation, because they are fair and balanced AND entertaining.  I know you miserable ppl like gloom and doom lemon, expert spin artist Maddow and stick up his butt Anderson Cooper!

I've written on this before.

For cable news conservative views for many years there has been and still is only one well established cable channel for conservatism and that is FOX.   So those who want conservatism and via watching CABLE NEWS NETWORKS go there. 

However for those who want LIBERAL views among CABLE NEWS NETWORKS, the viewership is split (unevenly, but split nonetheless) among two:  CNN and MSNBC

More people watch LIBERAL view CABLE NEWS NETWORKS than conservative.

But because of that TV viewer split on the left, that means by default FOX will *ALWAYS* have the greatest number of viewers on ONE CHANNEL at any given timeframe.

It's basic arithmetic.  Most people can comprehend this. Some apparently refuse to.

Furthermore, it is CLEAR that MODERATES prefer LIBERAL channels to conservative.

Maybe historically, but liberal news these days is just a 24/7 TDS news cycle, its tiresome.  I was working in a house today and the lady was watching CNN and had to turn her music off to hear this breaking story about Putin helping Trump spread misinformation about voter fraud, she was glued to it watching like her life was on the line.  It was pathetic.  Liberals go ape shit when their lying news networks put out the outrage of the week, no facts needed, no real sources needed.  Then they look stupid when its proven to be fake, then rinse and repeat, and next outrage will be no different.  They wont wait for the facts to come out, they will get their panties in a bunch, wont question it etc.   Its kind of sad to see a portion of our population in such a zombie like state, standing by for the news to tell them what they should be angry about, but thats where we are.

I can think only think of 1 unverified news story that one guy on FoxNews pushed in the last couple years, I can think of a dozen plus from lib media.  The strange thing is they only seem to be wrong in one certain direction...   The media makes the left look like absolute fools time and again, we see it in this forum where people are still spreading fake news and stories that have been debunked.  When are you guys going to start questioning CNN, MSNBC and NYT?
