Matthaus - I agree that I would lean on the over.  Both sides can score and there should be chances throughout.  Im staying on Portugal only, but if I had to take the total I would go over.

i got portugal to win the group +120 and over 5.5 goals -145 on the tournament so i'm kinda on them already
 
yeah i'm rolling with the over, i got o2.5 +135, should be a wide open game

vanz, you were lucky to win, but it would have been unlucky to lose. the czechs are the better team. a push is what you were looking at at worst, and i used the exact same rationale in making the same wager.

Yeah, but the swiss played better - hit the post - had 2 questionable handballs that could have gone against the czechs - and the czechs really didnt deserve to win.

A draw was a fair result - and I wouldnt have lost - but a win would have to be considered lucky.

I hope Portugal is up 3-0 at HT so that I can actually breathe in the second half of this one.

thank you vanzack for the writeup--i dont bet soccer but I saw this :
 
I expect a very low scoring game.  Barnetta for the Swiss is questionable, and they will sit back and defend like they always do.  I think if anyone will score it will be the Czechs.  I look for a 1-0 or 2-0 type of game, with the Swiss not scoring.  The czechs should have the majority of the chances in this one.
 
In the second game, I wanted a reason to bet against Portugal, but really couldnt find one.  Portugal is better in almost every respect, and the only way I dont see them winning is if they cant score
 
 
I took the under 2.5 and won      we need this kind of stuff again at covers where people talked sports and shared info.....

its the same bet, in this case. watch though if portugal scores, the ingame betting will go to -1.5 +100 (or something) and the ML will go to like -500... get it?
